Alt leveling

Give us an option to skip the maw questline if we already done it. That is all.

They already gave you the option to skip redoing all 8 layers in Torghast.
Maw intro takes 20 minutes. You will be fine.

If Blizzard has not figured out most people can’t stand questing through/in/whatever the Maw by now, I don’t think they ever will :stuck_out_tongue:

But I guess that’s the point, it isn’t a place we’re supposed to love.

As someone with many alts sitting at level 50, I agree. Although I still haven’t paid attention to any of the quest text in Shadowlands so far.

As someone that plays alts I say thumbs up to this statement.

So whats the current fastest way of leveling? Just doing hands of fate or doing storyline?

Solo dps? Replay storyline
Solo tank/healer? ToF spam dungeons
Group with no tank/healer? Replay storyline
Group with tank/healer? ToF spam dungeons

Storyline seems faster tbh, plus its linear.

I found Threads of Fate is faster, but apparently everyone’s mileage differs. (I loathe the story, so will never do it again even if ToF are longer.)

In my personal experience I feel like like just doing the normal campaign is.

and I loathe ToF and will wait until Blizz enables 60 boosts to get my characters that are in it to 60, they’ll just be dead to me until then

ToF what even is there to do to level? WQs offer miniscule 8k xp and you got bonus objectives that take 30 mins to do 1 of them for 15k xp

Boosts of Fate

That’s a trade off that’s actually worth it for once

Wow, I haven’t seen a thread like this in…checks page…almost four hours! What a new and interesting topic! I’m sure your opinion will change the minds of everyone who has an opinion on this.

To answer the other question, Storyline feels faster to me, and if you’re playing an enchanter, you’ll want that for all the quest rewards you’ll get. Your milage may vary, but keep in mind that ToF still requires you to get to 60 for all the fun parts of your covenant.

I’m a quest completist (do every quest in game) so I had to do ToF once to do all the quests that you can only get in ToF which are mostly bonus objectives. I had to do a bit of the side quests in every zone to fill the bar for that zone but by the time I did all quests I only needed to run a few dungeons to ding 60

I prefer dungeon-queueing as a DPS gatherer. I run around picking flowers and mining ore as I wait for a dungeon to pop.
