Alt leveling in Dragonflight

Whats the fastest way to level alts in DF?

Do you get a quest option like you did in the previous expansion, asking if you want to go main story or a “threads of fate” type of thing?

Apparently DF’s official threads of fate system is called “Adventure Mode.”

Not sure what it entails, but figured name dropping it would help you read up.

To those who have leveled many characters, please rank the ways you have done in order of xp per hour:

Dungeons
Dungeons with questing in between queues
Herbalism/Mining
Main questline not side quests
Main questline with side quests
Side quests and WQs

Thank you

I will add my own ranking of the one that I have done:

main quest only ? dungeons with questing > dungeons >= Herbing

I’m feeling rather uncentered while leveling alts in DF, and I’ve still not found a path I like. I miss & crave the routine of Sadowlands.

I leveled my druid to 70 by mostly doing dungeons (with quests when possible) and a few open world quests, but MAINLY dungeons and herbalism. Only started working on the campaign seriously at like level 69.

But right now I am working on my main as much as possible, trying to unlock renown which in turn will open up more stuff for my alts as they collect rested experience.

Just do what quests you can while repeatedly queing dungeons

At lvl 68 or 69 you can do all your professions 1st time crafts instead of quests
