Currently as it stands, playing an alt in Season of Discovery is a bit of a paint point for a lot of players. I myself have a single 60 I raid on, with 3 other 50s sitting in Stormwind/IF that have been relegated to crafting bots.
I want to play these characters, but it’s such an incredibly long chore for seasonal content that I’d rather go play another game.

- Reputations
- Acquiring runes from previous tiers
- Desire to partake in 0.5 Quest Line for gear that gets replaced pretty quickly.
- Time to level
TLDR

- Reputations - Sell BoA rep tokens once you have a character reach exalted.
- Runes - Reduce difficulty of related rune mobs and BoA rep tokens.
- 0.5 Tier Gear - Sell BoA spec crate that costs as much as buying a set would and contains all 8 pieces of gear.
- Increase XP gains to 100% 50-60, we’re roughly a month into the phase, crank it up.

Being seasonal content, in regards to alts, this should be something that is not required to grind out multiple times. Grinding through it the first time is enough. Retail has warbands coming that have new reputations applied to all characters. If we want alts played more, reputation grinds being a one and done would be welcomed.
Possible solution: Once you reach exalted with a character, the vendor sells a BOA token that gives X amount of reputation, i.e. Ardent Dawn rep token that gives 1k rep for 5g. If I were to apply this to my alts for the three big reps right now (Ardent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, and Hydraxian Waterlords), I’d be out ~1900g if I wanted to boost them.
Runes

It’s been stated that you can’t just undo content and put the runes on the vendor, you have to be able to receive a reward. Bring about adjustments instead of a vendor. Summoning the dark riders, make them normal mobs. Reputation locked? Do the above where you can buy Bind on Account reputation tokens once one of your characters reaches exalted (two birds, one stone).
Dungeon Set Gear

0.5 Gear in general was a bit of a let down for myself. I used it for a grand total of 1 week before replacing it with FR gear, keeping my ST 3 piece as a ret paladin, and then filling all other slots with raid gear pretty quick. In short, outside of a few specific specs, I’d recommend not doing it.
However, if it was something that unlocked for my alts, then it’d be fantastic. Selling Bind on Account crates of the entire sets would make it so that once you complete the chain, you can drop however much it’d cost for a whole offset collection. This way the gear gets more use while grinding dungeons for other pieces that don’t come from the sets.
Reward the player for completing this, it’s already expensive and incredibly time consuming to do this once.

Having these rewards will help drive people to earn exalted and put more time into the game, while also draining people’s coffers to incentivize them to play more to farm. All of this also makes playing alts easier, which will lead to more people wanting to raid on said characters, helping create more groups and a healthier playerbase.
