Alright, we've had our fun

It’s been a blast pasting the Alliance, painting Ratchet with their blood, carpeting the floor with their bones, but lets be honest- Ratchet needs at least one more guard on duty.
It’s been fun taking out aggression on the Alliance for all the rune bias, but we have to admit it’s not cool. Ratchet needs a guard patrolling around the anchor in center of town and down to the flightpath.

To peel back the curtain a little with those who haven’t figured out how the Ratchet guards work, or any of the neutral town’s guards, they become aggressive toward you from PvP actions, but they still need to aggro to you by proximity of your position. Meaning if you are far away from a guard and attacking someone who running up to one, you will be safe, but if you are next to a guard and attack someone far away from a guard, they are gonna clock ya. Think of them less like guards and more so ?? enemies that just so happen to spawn in at those points when you take a PvP action of any kind.

Oh is the horde hiding in ratchet? That explains why they lose every single BfA on my server.

Can someone explain to me whats going on in Ratchet? Is it just a pvp server problem? I haven’t seen anything there on Wild Growth

Horde go there to farm Alliance, since their flagged there and Horde are not. Alliance need to go through there for a lot of things, and the center of town has a void of guards. So they end up getting pasted by the swarms of Horde, and if they turn and fight when fleeing, the guards turn them into mashed potatoes.

The guards are ignoring the horde that attack the alliance?

The guards ignore everyone if your positioning is good.

That’s the belief that a lot of Alliance players have that haven’t had much experience in these old school WPVP fights in Neutral towns. Ahh, the bloodbaths in Booty Bay when ya just stopped caring about rep. Good times.

Pay the honor toll simple as

I’m too busy blocking the border between Silverpine and Hillsbrad to care about your outdoor battleground.

The Alliance on my server is having a bad time trying to get to SFK to get gear so they can do BfAshenvale.

Because if you you don’t get no tolls, then you don’t eat no rolls. Or something like that.

For a ‘good’ time in Ratchet (or any goblin town), get friendly with the Bloodsail.

Get exalted with both and be a real pro

From what I’ve read, you can’t get much more than friendly, but ‘friendly’ is enough to stir up the otherwise lethargic, goblin bruisers.

Broken guard mechanics, the “neutral” guards arent attacking Horde who attack Alliance in the “neutral” goblin town and so horde are just camping the flight path.

this isnt true. I have lured many a horde to their death in ratchet. The issue with the flight path camping and ratchet in general is the lack of guards and where they are positioned. The whole middle of the town is unguarded, including the flight path.

Economy has been rough, with Durotar Supply eating into Ratchet’s profits n’ all.

Gazlowe had to let most of the guards go, and those still around haven’t yet been told they won’t get their paychecks by Christmas.
