Alright I'm done. Bagnon alternative? Caveats inside

Bagnon. Incredible one-bag addon, but support / timeliness has seriously declined because I think the maintainer has moved on.

What I really like:

  • One big bag, obviously.
  • Inventory tracking for other characters, so mousing over say, iron ore, shows that these three alts have x, y, and z amounts in bags/bank.
  • Toggling to see another char’s inventory you’re not logged into.
  • Bank, Guild Bank, and Void Storage support for most of the upper things too.

Is there anything with most of these?

I have a similar complaint about AdiBags. They’ve had no movement towards updating, and I think I had a fever dream of them saying they’ve stopped updating but I don’t know if that was true or not

Better Bags and Adibags look promising, but they’re both behind on updating too.

Honestly, these days, I like the vanilla bag options well enough not to bother. I’m pretty sure you can one-bag it without mods now.

Altaholic takes care of all the inventory tracking. Baganator and LiteBags are good alternatives for the bags.

Yeah but none of the other stuff was present when I tried it before going back to bagnon at the start of dragonflight.

One big bag, visually, is much easier for playing, but the other stuff is what really makes it great.

I just discovered Baganator and it’s great. Bye bye Bagnon.

Then that’ll be my first try, thanks everyone.

I think they are all waiting for Warband banks to be enabled to adjust to that.

Bagnon is by far my favorite bag add on and although it takes forever to update there is a workaround to get it to function right now

Someone posted it not too long ago and I screenshot it but I’ll put it here again as best I can:

In your addons folder go to BagBrother\libs\Poncho-2.0.lua
Open it with whatever ide/editor you want, comment out line 183 and save it (put two dashes in front of the line back to back). This fixed mine.

I’ve been using betterbags in lieu of adibags

it’s not as good as adibags was, but adibags isn’t updated any longer (as far as
I know)

better bags is… ok.

I’ma check out baganator

Please let me know if any of these add ons let you more the bag from it’s default location on the right.

I’m desperate to move my bags. (Have vision issues and moving the bag is easier than turning my head, which only makes it worse).

Just need to be able to move my bags on the screen again. Thx

Same thought I had… it blows Bagnon away it’s so much better. And it’s actually being updated frequently.

Baganator does.

Currently using LiteBag with the optional plugins for BoE, Crafting Quality, Item Level, Junk, Pawn, and Uncollected.

I’ve been using ArkInventory. The maintainer is consistently updating the addon. There was a massive bug that kept me from seeing new items that showed up in my inventory when 11.0 first launched, but that’s been fixed in the current alpha version (which I’ll probably keep using until things stabilize more after TWW launch).

I’ve seen Inventorian recommended as well.

By BoE plugin do you mean ‘add a little “BOE” overlay’ to the item icon? I had that for Bagnon too and and it was really helpful.

Baganator. Don’t waste your time with anything else

It’s a separate addon. So I have “LiteBag” installed, followed by “LiteBag BoE”, and “LiteBag Crafting Quality”, and “LiteBag Item Level”, and “LiteBag Junk”, and “LiteBag Pawn”, and “LiteBag Uncollected”. So it’s 7 addons total. The pawn one requires the pawn addon, but the others are standalone. They add additional functionality to LiteBag. I like it so far.

Elvui+tsm does most of this.
