Nab a brand spanking new TV set worth a thousand dollars? Did the Steam Summer Sale bleed your bank account dry with a thousand cuts? Or did you find something to your liking on the Battle.net
storefront?
How’d this Black Friday impact you and… more importantly, are you ok?

That 50 dollar character boost looked interesting, but I don’t need any more max levels at the moment.

Bought GW2: PoF, but now my PC isn’t working properly. But yeah, online purchases only! I refuse to deal with people!

Coffee Pot died last night so I bought a new one today. Pot and filter, $20.00 +tax. That is the sum total of money spent on Black Friday.

Apparently it’s actually cheaper to just buy a brand new copy of BFA on another WoW account you have linked to your main Battle Net account. According to reddit, the character boosts are account-wide, so it literally never makes any sense to purchase a boost token at regular price, or even at a ten buck discount.

I wanted a services sale, but it did not happen, so I did not buy anything.

Nice choices. I nabbed Spec-Ops and Dynasty Warriors 8 on Steam.
Then I saw a lot of other stuff I would have easily purchased and therefore I had to shut off Steam immediately to save myself from bankruptcy.

I went to Fred Meyer to get some celery, mushrooms, and sour cream for cooking… and grabbed some 1/2 off socks and a couple boxes of crackers for a buck a pop.

That’s ok, iron isn’t that great. Heavy, and weak for what it is.

Ikr, last time I purchased a boost (with the full game of course) was right before they dropped the bfa pre patch. I was planning on using the boost to try out the paladin’s artifact weapon before they made them obsolete, then level up my other alts using the second account to spam dugions. Then blizzard went and dropped the pre patch and the exp nerfs came out. At least I paid the same price for a boost I would have purchased anyways and who knows, maybe I will resub to my one of my secondary licenses when classic comes out.
In any event I can’t help but always laugh at how you can always buy the full game for 60$ and get a whole free boost with it. Then black friday comes around and they leave the charter boost at 60 while dropping wow-bfa to 50. On a side note if you don’t have BFA yet on one of your licenses you can always buy a BFA only boost for a cheaper price instead of buying the complete collection. Also when wow’s next xpac comes out you can probably upgrade any of your bfa accounts as well. To put it in perspective, I still have three pre bfa licenses on my account so I could by three 40$ character boost for a grand total of 120$. That is the same price you would pay to just get buy two boosts. Are they that desperate to sell copies of BFA over charter boost; LOL.

Not “desperate” per say, but it looks better for their metrics if they encourage players to purchase BFA over a traditional character boost. Something about “units shipped” being a good statistic to show shareholders or something.

shrug I bought some needed groceries during times when the stores in question would not be packed and played Pokemon Go. There’s nothing I need or want that badly to put up with that nonsense.
