I’ve played the game for a lot of years now, and I take breaks periodically. I was barely around at all in WoD. I do come back when time and interest are available to me. I just took another month off recently. It wasn’t due to anything specific, just real life time constraints and lowered interest in logging in for awhile. There is no shame in returning, and I think that attitude needs to change in the community. Someone quits and everyone ridicules them and taunts them with “meh, you’ll be back” in sarcastic tones. Maybe they will be back, and maybe they won’t. Its really none of our business and makes little impact, generally speaking. People should be able to come and go as they please without the judgment.
