Currently in Alpha, they have removed the talents which provide Streamline for MM hunters. Streamline’s purpose is to reduce the cast time of Aimed Shot. That leaves the spell taking 3 seconds to cast. The design philosophy around this is that Aimed Shot is meant to be a “long cast worth the wait”
Aimed Shot is a rotational ability. It has 2 charges and takes 12 seconds to recharge. That maths out to spending 6 out of every 12 seconds casting Aimed Shot.
I find this sort of gameplay to be VERY unfun to conceive. I am not on Alpha to test it, but I feel like I don’t need to test it to know that spending 3 seconds casting any spell feels like forever. Never mind one that you are casting so regularly.
PLEASE do not keep this cast time on Aimed Shot. I have said in other threads that no amount of damage can compensate for gameplay that is not fun.

Blizz devs have clearly never played CoD. Kids these days can aim with no scope while jumping in under a second and still get me in the head from 100 yards away.
You think they would give Aimed Shot the evoker treatment, make it like their hold cast abilities. The longer you choose to hold it down the more powerful the hit, 1 to 5 bars.
I’m assuming that Trueshot still speeds up Aimed Shot casts. Maybe they’ll let us drop it down to a minute CD, if they insist on taking Streamline I mean. Or they could just lower the cast time a bit, ofc.
are you telling me currently in alpha there are zero ways to speed up that 3 second cast time??? zero???
do the devs play their own game? three seconds is a horrendously long time in this game. thank BEEP that my hunter is surv because i could not handle that…
also since AS is already just a long STANDING THERE POSING FOR WHATEVER REASON ability, might as well make it look cool. take a knee, aim that shot, maybe some cool wispy trails converging into the tip of the arrow…?
