I was playing WoW and I saw my launcher start to update. I got excited thinking it might be alpha access only to find that it was a tiny PTR patch, as if there is anything to add to this abomination of a patch.

I think it was mentioned in a sticky on this forum’s page. Something about a facial update for NPC characters in preparation for SL, I think…

ya, i saw that earlier too, so heartbroken. :frowning: Feelsbad Expecially since people with Alpha were complaining they couldn’t test dungeons because que times were horribly long on stream, because there were only like 20 people still logging in.

You’d also have an email accompanying the launcher update if you got into alpha.

They’re updating the PTR for some back end stuff for shadowlands. They did make a whole post about it. It’s sticky’d even

Not necessarily, in bfa alpha i never got an email, not in my spam either. Think the system just gets overloaded and doesn’t send them sometimes.

Or they come super late after you get access, like days.

I didn’t get an e-mail with my BFA alpha invite. One day I just had access.

I’m surprised a raider with my tier of gear hasn’t received an alpha invite yet

Same for me, but with beta. I’ve had beta since BC and NOT ONCE gotten an email about it.
