You can usually check Wowhead for that kind of news. Last I heard it was confirmed on there.
Thanks. I think itâs a wonderful change. Kudos to Blizzard for taking this step.
Just to let you know, if you want any news related to the beta/alpha, itâd be best to watch the general forum as everyone would be posting about any news/updates/changes made in there. Even if most folks ainât in it, someone who is will post in that forum.
You can give Blizzard feedback on this using the in-game feedback option. Itâs available to players with a starter account and ones with no current game time as well as active accounts.
Good idea. Thanks.
Hi I would love to participate In The Alpha Test For Dragon Flight I Have Signed Up.
Have you even bothered to read any of this thread at all? Seriously.
All you can do is sign up and cross fingers and toes.
This forum has absolutely NOTHING to do with Alpha testing, Beta testing etc. That includes feedback from what you have read and invites.
Customer Support cannot grant Alpha or Beta access.
If you want to participate in the Alpha or Beta testing of our game, you can sign up on the official World of Warcraft website (Dragonflight / Wrath of the Lich King Classic). The sign up is only available when the testing is open, or shortly before testing starts.
Signing up for Alpha or Beta testing does not guarantee access to the Alpha or Beta.
If you are selected to participate, we will send you an email to let you know that your Battle.net account now has access to the Alpha or Beta. Our email will not include a code. All you need to do is log in to the Alpha or Beta client using the Battle.net account that was selected for access.
I signed up for the Dragonflight Beta and pre-purchased Dragonflight. I never got an email inviting me to the Alpha but I noticed that I had the option to download the Alpha on Battle.net and I did so and was then able to play it.
What I canât do, however, is post messages on the Dragonflight Alpha test forum. Why is that?
Fouml permissions run behind game permission updates. Logging out and back into the forums usually refresh their permissions.
Congrats on getting in! How very lucky.
Nok is right. Forum permissions tend to lag behind account permissions. Logging totally out of the forums then back in can kick it. Sometimes logging out and clearing cache/cookies may be needed before logging in again.
That usually does it.
Logging out/in did the trick. Thanks!
finding issues huh? lolâŠ
here is 1.
making customers pay for a game⊠where the company locks things?
so in other words - customers have to work NOT PLAY work to get what they want while paying money to do so. games are ment to be FUN, do you even understand that?
nice logic there blizzard. learn to make a game?
its like Iâm buying a car but I can only drive it 20km per day because its âlockedâ due to reasons they are to lazy to explain. thatâs how blizzard does things⊠thatâs blizzard thinking right there.
If you have any constructive suggestions to make, maybe something a little less vague, then youâll want to do so in one of the non-support related forums.
This forum and the blues who post here are not part of the feedback or suggestion loop. If you have a general suggestion to make, you can post in the General Discussion forums or use the in-game suggestion feature.
Nobody is âmakingâ anyone do anything though. Either itâs something you want to do and find value in it, or simply choose not to do it. If youâre not having fun, then why force yourself to play a game youâre not happy with?
Iâm not entirely certain what this has to do with Alpha/Beta testing, nor do I know what thing is locked you are referring to. In general though, these types of games provide obstacles and challenges for players to overcome and accomplish something.
If you were a bit more clear on what you are referring to I might have a better answer, but given the subject of this thread was Alpha testing, Iâm just going to leave it here.
