Ever since Tuesday night, there has been insane lag starting around 6 or 7pm EST. I’m getting big lag spikes every 5-10 seconds, even when outside of combat. It’s not addons, I’ve disabled all addons and it’s still happening. Other people in the raid are saying it’s happening to them as well.
During the day, there’s no lag at all. But in the evening, it’s insane non-stop lagspikes.
What’s going on? It seems like some patch/hotfix has broken something.
Been noticing the same thing wasn’t sure if it was a problem exclusive to blizzard servers or something else. Because we had our data centers getting attacked by russia lmao.
I’ve never had lag issues before tho but the lag after 6 is insane and it just slowly creeps my ping up and I get huge delay in game
My ping/latency doesn’t really increase very much, but I get insane lag spikes every 5-10 seconds. Last night (Thursday) it was the same thing, almost the whole raid I was getting tons of lagspikes, some of them lasting up to 10 seconds(!!)
However around 10:30 or so the lag finally seemed to stop.
Just got home so I’m gonna run a dungeon or two and see if it’s still laggy.
There’s a post in the tech support forums with a lot of people reporting this same issue that are all mid atlantic to north east US Verizon FIOS customers. I have been experiencing the same issue.
I am also a verizon fios customer. FEELS BAD MAN and thank for you that info @Cruthas. I may just tether from my phone so I can arena.
I have a hard time believing it is only a Verizon/FIOS thing. I’ve seen many people complaining about lag on Pagle both in general/LFG and also in dungeon groups. Pretty much every dungeon group I’ve been in from around 7:30 PM EST until 10:30 PM EST has complained about lag and while I am using Verizon I have a hard time believing 90% of my sample size is also using Verizon/FIOS.
