People, the point is the timing of the removal of said word, that makes it suspect.
Why did they choose NOW to remove it? That is the question.
If they were so worried about offending, they should have done it a long time ago, or not even put it in game.

Having players playout a genocide scenario kind of proves you wrong OP. They also had originally planned for there to be actual death camps in Darkshore but folks made a stink about it.
Sorry that the removal of a word makes you think they lost their ‘backbone’.

I’m sure that some busy-body objected to the use of the word in a game that is supposed to be rated ‘T’ for teen. Blizzard likely had two choices: switch to an ‘M’ rating or fix the game. They figured that keeping that one word in the game wasn’t worth all the potential sales that they could lose by switching ratings. I can’t blame them for that. Why are you so offended by the lack of the word? Why can’t you use your imagination and fill in the blanks yourself?

At the end of the day does it matter if the word is there or not? However with that said, this word is allowed on daytime TV so I don’t see why it needed to be removed.

blizzard your game is rated T for Teen, you know whats covered under that rating? mild language. please treat your players like the adults we are we can handle the b word. please stop trying to engineer situations that you think are going to be issues. you have creative freedom to do what you want because this is a fictitious game and not real life.
