With all the new inclusivity additions to the game, I was wondering if we can address the fact that every character in the world of warcraft is right-handed.
It’s always been a little jarring for me to watch my characters swing a sword or cast spells or shoot simply since that’s not the way I’d do it. Wouldn’t it be a simple matter of reversing animations? Can we maybe get an option to reflect which side is our “main hand”?

Honestly kind of surprised this isn’t more common. ‘Main Hand’ isn’t ‘Right Hand’.

To maintain accuracy, left handed players would have to wield everything right handed anyway. Also if theres ever a quest where can openers are a thing, there has to be a 90% chance for left handed players to get confused and hate life.

I fully agree with this tbh. It’s such a tiny detail but I’ve also made threads in the past requesting the possibility of actually being left handed. I’d love it.

I was getting really tired of all the threads on this topic, but this one is okay. 
We already have one-handed weapons that can go in either hand. Methinks it would just require a bit of bug testing for all those abilities that check to see if you have X equipped. I think they probably reference the specific slot for efficiency reasons.
I want to shoot like I do in real life .
Give me Left handed guns and bows
I mean, flipping the animations shouldn’t be TOO rough. They did this in Twilight Princess!

Maybe it’s a ploy? Keep people distracted with the left and then reach for the dagger with the right!

I use both hands equally well for anything so I do not mind.
