Just like the obelisk on the roof, let us get the 5 orb of someone completes it while we are close to them.

i hear your suppose to be able to get it if your in a group and 1 person gets it. if so its bugged and dosnt work atm, being i got it in a big group (by the skin of my teeth) and noone else saw the quest pop up
all you gatta do is try try and try again. its hard yes but not impossible

I don’t even know if it could be Nerf like that considering pet battles are miniature instances. You can’t see the person pet battling so you wouldn’t get the item that drops directly into the bag. I think I’ll spend the day tomorrow collecting at least one of those pets if I don’t already have all three and then figuring out what the strategy is.
There’s got to be some way.
You could also just spend the hour and change getting 3 pets that are eligible and the charms to level them to 25.

The way is getting 3 easy pets in a short time and doing the pet battle yourself.
Spyragosa, Gurgl, and Wicker Pup are all easy to obtain and take little time. Leveling them up might be more of a hassle, but not too much.
fyi the monkey cheats
At least three of the pets on the list can be bought on the AH or borrowed from a friend or guildmate. Only a few of them are hard or difficult to get.
I was able to get wicker pup, terky, and taptaf… Do you think those are good enough for the fight? Do i need to upgrade them to rare? or can uncommon work?
Need to level to 25, as Feasel’s pets are 25 and have hard hitting abilities.
Far as the pets, you want good abilities against Magic (Judgment), Mechanical (Honky Tonk) and Humanoid (Fezwick).
I don’t think the monkey cheats. But he is definitely the most deadly out of all the enemy pets as he has a stun ability that can play havoc with your team.
