Why isn’t this a thing? If they were introduced this phase for ashenvale, why not extend it to WSG as well? Mount is also now friendly rep to obtain, which wouldn’t take everyone very long to farm and get themselves.

This is one of those “You know what, good point.” You can use it in Ashenvale but not THIS spot in Ashenvale.
I would argue WSG is half Ashenvale and half Barrens. >_>; just to be the devils advocate it.

Ehh. This would give an even more overwhelming advantage to premades. The rep grind to get the mount is steep enough that any given pug will likely have a majority of players without mounts.
Negative. This lvl PvP bracket doesn’t have mount. Wait for next phase and you can use your mount in PVP from then on.

If you can’t grind to exalted with the Ashenvale pvp it kinda makes the mount a waste of money.
I would agree it’s a steep grind if the mount was still an honored requirement. But it was changed to friendly now which quite frankly can be achieved by casuals in a week or less. Premades are another issue in itself that I won’t get into for this thread
