Blizzard devs have been doing some excellent changes recently and responding to feedback so can we please have this implemented as well? For plate I only have my helmet that I can’t get a socket for but I know other classes lose even more than just one piece.

How about make domination sockets something that can drop and just be applied to gear.
And put shards on a vendor.
And like, I dunno, anything other than this garbage system?

They knew how to give gear multiple sockets in the past, so let us socket our sockets
I think LW gets the most sockets now due to their dom socket locations
Ummm thought you could add a regular socket a domination socket item.
With that said allow sockets on every slot like in BFA. I don’t have enough stats.
We should have multiple sockets on each slot
Bring back 3 socket pants and chests
Bring back bs getting extra bracer socket and belt buckles adding sockets to belts
How about there’s a vendor that sells dom sockets, so you can buy them and apply to your gear. Solve this issue all the way around.
Make it purchasable with soul cinders like the normal sockets are.

Bring back echoes of nyalotha or whatever but call them echoes of domination and make them earnable through weekly assault, torgast once a week (like visions), m+, raid, pvp and callings, and add in a vendor that sells sockets, dom things, conduits, BoA armour tokens for alts, etc
No rep gating, just requires echoes farming. Ideally not rotation locked like corruptions though

You could socket domination gear on ptr but they decided to remove this once the patch went live.

I had been wondering if Domination gear could roll normal sockets. Didn’t see a reason why they shouldn’t, but still had a nagging feeling they might not. Guess I finally have my answer.
Plate also has a Domination socket on Bracers, so we lose that normal socket as well.

The first thing that comes to mind is to keep us farming… but by having specific pieces for dom slots, the loot pool from M+ shrink’s, and the driving factors to play M+ more goes away.
If we could go after any peice of gear and slot it with dom sockets, I’d argue there’s a case that players would play more. Because doing M+ and/or pvp could be an upgrade. As it stands now, half your slots come from raid. Don’t get lucky? Welp, better luck next week.

Oh that’s extremely weird. Since I need 6 sockets to get to stat breakpoints. I really thought I could socket my Domination Helm. Now I’ll have to find a different helm. Can’t sacrifice stats already hard to get them.
I still feel completely weak compared to BFA. Which is why every slot needs to be able to be socketed. We need Shards that are Stat amps lol.
This would also be cool I’m mostly a raider and ran all 3 modes so I never really had issues getting dom sockets but this could def help others.
Only if the currency to buy both of those come from raid bosses only. PVP had last tier.
You couldn’t add sockets on azerite gear, the heart of azeroth, nor the legendary cloak so no idea where this “every slot in BFA” is coming from.
But in relation to the thread. You could on the PTR but it didn’t carry over to live. Weirdly, this has actually caused a bug where you cannot add a socket to certain helms from Season 2, mainly the ones from Korthia. Keep seeing this bug getting reported on the bug forums.
