Allow RIO to be a Blizzard-made score to queue into hard content

Saying I’m selfish for wanting people to be on the same level is more selfish of you.

It’s always been about the rewards being greater for higher levels of challenge. If there’s no incentives for more challenging content, then it disincentives playing for many people.

Im saying you’re selfish because you’ve stated this is about your conquest for handouts

see that “I” in front of your sentence?

This is all about you

but you don’t want to be on the same level as me.

you want to do much less and get the same drops.

This is a HORRIBLE idea.

So if you get in a +12 and fail , everyone is mad and blaming everyone else. How does Karma play out?

You should get 0 Karma all around:

  1. You failed to even do the content properly.
  2. Either 1 person, or multiple people failed to do what was needed of them.

So who decides who messed up? The person who yells the loudest?

Dumb dumb dumb.

If we had a Karma system I would rate you -5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Your TMOG is atrocious
Your gems and enchants have ADHD
You apparently want handouts

So here is the deal.

If you want 425 gear my suggestion is to start by raiding (Not LFR).

Next, you may want to step foot in a M+. I think your RIO score is like 0…

Worked hard for Silent Crusader. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. A balance of stats are necessary for me, can’t have too little of one stat. (RaidBots User)

Earned handouts, ALA JP/VP and TF/Tertiary/Socket mixed together and removed TF restrictions on Azerite and Weapons.

If that’s not given, then hard content’s doors need to be busted down.

Oh, they also tried something in the past to “teach” players and to make sure skilled players were doing content. Remember Proving Grounds during Warlords?

I rolled out a spec I hadn’t played seriously in two expansions and met the requirements in two passes. Only two because I forgot how the spec did AoE. My hunter met the requirements on his first pass.

In short, it didn’t accomplish anything besides slowing players down and annoying them.

If anything, it discouraged a lot of players from even running dungeons.

It’s up to players to find their own ways to vet who they take with them. If you FORCE them into an artificial system, someone will find a way to ABUSE that system.

Because any artificial system CAN and WILL be abused.

Gearscore was abused. Item Level is abused by people carrying stuff in inventory that they weren’t equipping to inflate their item level. Every Numeric Artificial System Can And Will Be Abused.

Verdre, that is how it is now with RIO as it stands now.

Elitists and trolls have too much power. I am advocating for their power to be gone.

People with keys have the power, whether they are elitists or trolls depends on the person. Fortunately, acquiring a key is very straightforward, so at the end of the day they don’t really have any power.

The danger of making a rating like RIO official is that it gives them “authority” that is backed up by Blizzard.

You want to use Raider IO or the like, more power to you. But I’m not going to encourage the idea of making any kind of rating system official because it CAN and WILL be abused.

Because people simply cannot “play nice with others”

What OP is trying to do is change wow from a game where there are a variety of players with different interests and playstyles to one where only people who play competitively are welcome or wanted.

Opposite. I.E, Casual > Elitist.

Player A: I see a noob, let me look him up.
Player A: Spews toxicity and filth at unsuspecting Player B who was minding his own business.

Seriously, that’s going to be the main result. People who like to harass others for playing the game wrong will now have a tool provided by Blizzard that enables them to harass anybody and everybody.

You know this.

In fact, your system is designed to block lower end players from ALL group content and keep them from improving ever.

There’s a hidden meaning deep within the OP.

It would allow you to queue for harder content with the Dungeon/Raid Finders.

But I go so angry at the Elitists that the meaning appears different.

(You can earn enough rating to bypass having to make a group/join a group via Premade Groups via LFR Endbosses/Heroics/M0.)

People who are looking to communicate with other people do not hide their points.

And that indeed is a dangerous practice. Because it was the variety of styles of gameplay that MADE the game great. I mean, I recall a thread some … uh, two years ago? A guy was thanking blizzard for making pet battling. They had an older guy who was part of their guild. The guy had a stroke or something. I don’t recall the exacts. After that there was a lot of stuff he couldn’t do due to physical limitations.

But he could still do pet battling. And he loved it. It gave him something to do while staying in the game he loved.

Something for almost everyone. That was what WoW was kind of built around.

That’s why I am Pro-Flying, Pro-JP/VP, Pro-Queuable Content, Pro-Options, etc.

Also my mom got me into Pet Battling.

She probably gave you too many participation trophies too.

Thanks but no thanks, if anything blizzard should be banning this addon.
