Allow RIO to be a Blizzard-made score to queue into hard content

I’m not doing a back-and-forth. Also, don’t threaten “taken seriously” when you want the same as well.

Since legion dropped almost every raid is in the top 10 for % of players obtaining AotC
Again never before has it been easier

im very content not being taken seriously by someone who thinks there is a monopoly on dungeons

trust me, you aren’t hurting me much there.

There is. Deny the truth all you want, but there is.

I didn’t want a back and forth, but it seems like you are asking for one.

isn’t that… kind of what a discussion forum is all about?

did you want to just state your position and everyone take it as the gospel truth?

come on.

I took it to mean that he wants civil discussion, not short-shot vaguely antagonistic bickering.

Whats civil? I think they just want an echo chamber

No, but I didn’t want a circular argument.

there is nothing to say to someone spouting off nonsense like people having a monopoly on content

there’s nothing to say to that. it’s not only wrong but just ridiculous to even think possible.

i refuse to believe anyone who says something like that is acting in good faith; it’s that dumb.

Again, you deny the truth. I cannot be gas-lighted that easily.

I would love someone with real mythic raiding experience stand up and say that randomly grouped queues for mythic is a good idea.

or even heroic.

Because you know what? it isn’t, and the random queue groups that we do have have shown that time and time and time again.

the reason people are so firmly against this is that we don’t want to see the content we participate in destroyed (ie, heavily nerfed).

I’m going to just use mythic ghuun as an example - my group was something like 6 weeks progressing on him before he died. how, exactly, do you think a random queued group would handle a boss like that?

(I’ll be honest, I haven’t read this whole thread - maybe you’re talking about something else, but we’ve seen this come up over and over)

it’s a fine idea in a world where the content won’t be nerfed

but it would be.

i think some pugs could do some lower keys, if the matchmaking system made sure groups had some CC but at that point you’d need such a robust match making system just to make this difficulty 100% queuable and even then you’ll have a lot of failed runs.

it would have to be an absolutely massive undertaking to make sure the matchmaking is somewhat enjoyable.

I’d rather your content be nerfed, then. There should be a new, spectator sport-only difficulty for people like you to frollick in. Same loot as base Mythic Raids, but all the difficulty in the world is shoved there and not Mythic.

Ah so this is all just a self serving selfish idea

Its sunday, i should have known!

One of? Im impressed youve seen someone that has surpassed OPs selfish self serving nonsense and has come up with a worse idea

Self-serving? 10% of 1m people is 100k. That number could have been 1m with 10m, but Blizzard would rather not open doors.

The only people who are self-served are people like you who advocate that the game stagnates and dies, rather than take an approach similar to a competitor like FF14/FFXIV, who is pulling in more at the moment.

OP IRL

More what?

Statistically speaking, people, doors, and content.
