I am having fun and to be honest the ganking is more of a minor annoyance than a game deal killer. But that being said I was led to believe that PVP would be fun not the lopsided gankfest that it is. It surprises me that the mojority of players chose the PVP servers so you all must really like it.
I think you’ll be fine. If you’re in a busy zone group up with a couple of people. Also since you’re level 60 you may not see a ton of action unless you’re in HIllsbrad or Barrens a lot, except outside of the raids and end game instances.
Or the more typical football analogy for you, rolling on a PvP server and being ganked is like playing Pop Warner football and being run over by Lawrence Taylor in his prime.
Then you’ll want RP-PvP. There is better balance, city raids, pvp events, and more spontaneous world pvp, not just a gankfest. Also, some ganking is to be expected. The ones who get their jollies out of trying to upset people to the point they actually quit… they have some issues. Not everyone is like that.

I’m going to use a personal experience when questing in ashenvale. Hardly any alliance quest there, very few in all honesty. A LOT of horde, and of them grouping up to kill one person just because red is dead. And don’t get me started on them doing it REPEATEDLY just because of that mentality. I honestly hate that I started on grob from launch for this reason. Can I fight? god yes I can. But when it’s a group of skulls that are bored out of there minds, it’s a line crossed. You should be at your area. I do not mind facing one or two players around my level. I do however find it insulting, if not bored whne it is someone that is 60, AND geared just walking up to you and killing you for no real reason. Especially on an RP server.
Yep, that pretty much sums up wpvp. But why did you join a pvp server if that bothered you. Or is this your first time playing WoW, then you have an excuse if you honestly didn’t know.

I almost had sympathy for your predicament. However, you have been reading and posting on the forums since the beginning. You have continued to play on a PVP server with your eyes open.
That quote is taken out of context the person I was responding was talking about pvp and I was adressing his excuses, if he had said any of the things i listed i would have responded differently since I know how cowardly is to act like that and I don’t do it nor do i condone such behavior.
No one can be “good” when you are being ganked in any of the scenarios i put in my list.
And stop stalking me, is really sad that the best thing you have to do is to search through all my post to find something on me and you even failed… hell you are even responding already, find something to do in your life seriously.
Yes, I admit the quote is taken somewhat out of context. But my point is that you have been reading and posting on the forums from the beginning. Thus, you had knowledge of what a Pvp server would continue to be like.

If they do this, they’ll need to add like 10 confirmation boxes so PvPers don’t accidentally transfer to a PvE realm.

This has been the nature of PvP servers since PvP servers became a thing. Your failure to understand this, or research this, is your own fault.
Your request is like asking for free clothes because you walked outside into a rainstorm and got wet when it’s been raining for the past 4 hours.

And people asked why we play on pve servers.
People roll on a PVP server to say they are on a PVP server. But then they complain about PVP? Ya’ll dumb. I’m on Incendius. I rarely got ganked by higher level players. Oh right, because I leveled instead of whined on forums.

You know what? Most of the time it does kind of suck on a PvP server. Especially if you’re a warrior you’re a sitting duck. But you do it for those special moments. Once a shaman a level higher than me attacked me right after I had finished killing a mob. I had half health and about 40 rage. I instantly used a health potion and switched into Berserker Stance and used intercept and Berserker Rage. I put 3 sunders on him right away and then just let white dmg, mortal strike, whirlwind do the rest. Got an execute on him and he had a sliver of hp left as did I, whoever got their next auto attack off first was going to win the fight. It was me, and it was so satisfying to kill that bastard.
Once I won that fight I bandaged up immediately and saw another horde just watching me. He didn’t interfere, he saw the other guy gank me at half hp and just let us duel it out.
I rolled on a PvP server for moments like that.
I’ve poly’d an alliance over and over until they got full health and killed the guy attacking him. LOL I did this in a grinding area that this horde was AOE grinding and trying to hold on to for just himself.
