I think the answer is to buff stagger and armor and health but dodging spells makes perfect sense lorewise. I mean why wouldn’t you be able to dodge something you see someone casting for 2-3 seconds and then throwing it at you like a dodgeball?
This is my exact line of thinking. We’re the elusive brawler, we should dodge spells!
To your other point, yes I agree. I was not suggesting this as a replacement for actual tuning. Just a fun suggestion that makes our mastery more interesting.
I was being tongue in cheek here, but I also like active mitigation.
I mean I didn’t mind elusive brew, but to be fair I miss tigereye brew too.
Bring both back, just saying
-
Increase Stagger efficiency across the board (magical %included)
-
Add Mitigation based on stagger : aka a sort of built in dampen harm, the more the stagger the more mitigation ( extra armor/extra dodge/flat damage reduction, make your pick)
-
celestial brew has to be rethink. At current state is a joke. Would be nice to see an effect of real drunken warrior and act as mini Evasion from rogue ability
Not a bad idea, could be tied into Purifying Brew to give us a more concrete active mitigation. Maybe buffed based on recently cleared stagger. It would have to not suck at lower levels of stagger though.
Agreed on points 1 and 3 as well, needing 10 purified chi for a garbage shield sucks.
on mop you could dodge spells with sparring with glyph but they removed it…
