How would you feel about that being added to Classic?
Seems to have minimal impact on game play but offers a lot for making the world feel more fleshed out and opens up RP potential.

I wouldn’t be much of a fan. I’m not a fan of the allied races and I’m not too fond of the sub-race ideas at all either (mecha-gnomes, san’layn, fox and lizard people). Classic is just fine without them.
thew whole reason i haven’t even purchased BFA is i don’t like the way the devs have started using rep gating like content, allied races were straight out the box rep gated in BFA and while it makes sense for the races to want to like you there were other ways to get this point across like a massive challenging juicy chain quest.
so while its selfish i don;t want BFA races on classic for the reason above alone, and if pressed im sure i could come up with one or two more besides.
on a side note, if blizzard fix the whole rep-gate thing and make it into an interesting way to earn an allied race ill totally buy BFA, but i’m not interested in an uninteresting method to get them, this includes just having it handed over, that said if they figure out a way to make it interesting to earn them in classic my mindset may change too.

Can’t be done without a massive effort in the art department … the ‘new’ races use the ‘new’ models and I expect most players here don’t want the ‘new’ models … so Blizzard would have to make ‘old’ models of the ‘new’ races to fit in with the aesthetic of Classic races.
And in any case, the ‘new’ races make no sense in the Azeroth we’re playing in.
I’d love to have more races as well as more race/class combo options in classic. Unfortunately, you’ll get slammed for even suggesting it

I would rather they make the Dark Iron and Mag’har races into skin options for their default races and leave the rest out. Also, don’t put them behind obnoxious rep grinds that take weeks to complete.
Fun fact I quit retail because of allied race grinding along with pathfinder rep grinding, in no way shape or form will I ever subject myself to that crap again

Well, let’s see what happens after Naxx is on farm.
I would just like human hunter. I like night elves, but they have the worst starting area ever, yet I’d never play a dwarf. Thus, I am resigned to my Wetlands death run fate.
If Blizzard goes the classic plus route I would welcome Taunka as a playable race. Should have happened after Wrath.
Well there’s no reason they have to be the exact same as what BFA got.
I wasn’t talking about only copy/pasting what retail has into classic, I just meant the concept of sub-races in and of itself.
