Allied rACES

welcom all

I believe blizzard choice of having the rep grind for theses races are ruining the game...i dont think anyone can say they enjoy this and the fact blizzard is continuing the system is beyond me...it doesnt offer anything in regard to unlocking the race beyond the reg rewards...so why if i wanted to play a new race... i need to grind the rep,,,it makes me not want to play the game...i dont want so spend countless hours on a char model just to grind the same quest again,,,i think this is a fail system and should be change back to back in the day where we started from lvl 1 or now we can lvl boost...i think this idea of grinding rep to play a new race is horrible idea and ruins the idea of having fun in a game.
That was a lot of words to say remarkably little.
Stopped at "rACES".
I can't say I am enjoying it per se, but I will say that the rep gating is making me selective. If I unlock an allied race - which are pure fluff, really, and not needed to play the core game - it's going to be because I really want it.

And I have decided Void Elves are worth having. It gives me a side goal to work toward. I like that. It also gave me a reason to get an Alliance toon to 110, which I hadn't yet.
They need to get that 1st month resub to show the suits.

Oh sorry I mean it’s fun and satisfying to earn the new content that was advertised to sell the game.
I enjoy this.

So if you don't want to grind a rep for a new race, just don't roll it I guess? Lots of people will probably stay with the races they already play, but for a lot of people they'll be excited for the change.

Even after Bliz announces a race, there's always a time lapse before they're even put in the game, so rep grinds aren't that big a deal. After they're done you have the race unlocked forever anyway.
you can have all your side projects and so on having alliance chars...doesnt mean you need to grind rep...all im saying is i dont think we should grind rep to exalted to enjoy new models...it should be as it was...if you want to grind rep to get all achieves and items its always a option..but having to do it for char models shouldn't be...maybe make a special armor set for exalted -.-
I had to grind rep for a silly tabard or mount, plus farm currency to trade in. Races are much more worthwhile. It's just how the game works and always has. If anything, it's easier. I remember the awe we felt in my guild in Vanilla at our member who, though a Night Elf, really, really wanted the Gnome mount... and actually stuck to her goal and got it.

Argussian Reach rep is not costing me any sleep at night.

You want something in-game, you play the game through the hoops to get it. That's just how it works.

...i dont want so spend countless hours on a char model just to grind the same quest again,,

posting on a nightborne would indicate you already have.

Argus is worse than suramar...I will grant this. Wait till 8.1 and the rep boost to legion and it will be much easier if you want the others.

Maybe next expac or the one to follow that going loooong term is when this might drop. Maybe.
they should've just made it a long quest-chain instead of a rep-grind. rep-grinds are boring and repetitive, quest-chains continually give you something new to do.
While I agreed with Blizz making the Legion Allied races exalted as hey something to do while you wait for BfA, the BfA ones shouldn't be.
so this post was just regarding the allied races...if you enjoyed grinding for something else like a mount or item...im not saying towards that direction..im just saying i enjoyed going into the game playing a new race or class without spending countless hours trying to unlock it...
Definitely one of the top reasons, along with Pathfinder, that I have chosen to end my subscription, and not purchase BfA, so I agree.
