Allied races need more customisation options

Lightforged Draenei: Need more skin tones. More tattoo options. And perhaps the ability or type of tattoo that doesn’t sit on their skin but floats around you (similar to their head thing) so that you can see it even while wearing armour. Some of the regular draenei hairstyles. Some more hair colours including black. Regular draenei hornstyles.

HM Tauren: All of the skin tones as regular tauren. More face options. Horne colours to match every skin tone. More hair styles. Tattoo type and colour should be separate. Maybe some more options and colours.

Void Elves: For the love of the gods give them so natural skin tones. They’ll still look plenty different from blood elves. Maybe a couple the the blood elf hairstyles but with tentacles. Need black and white hair colours. Tattoos. Cmon our racial leader has tattoos let us have tattoos too. Another way to distinguish ourselves from blood elves. Void tattoos would be really cool.

Dark Iron Dwarves: They’re pretty good already but a few more skin tones wouldn’t hurt. Dark brown hair colour.

Mag’har Orcs: There is a couple clans not available. Add them. Same regular orc hairstyles. Ginger/red hair colour.

Kul Tiran Humans: The sailor race… that doesn’t have tattoo options? Really? A lot of their npcs do. Please add tattoo options. More face options. Scars and wounded eyes and such should be a separate option not just a type of face. Some regular human hairstyles.

Zandalari Trolls: Ztrolls are pretty good but give them some of the regular troll hairstyles. All the regular troll hair colours including the vibrant red. Silver and maybe black options for their accessories and tattoos.

Also as an added thing. ALL races old and new regardless of gender need a bald option please. In the very least Mag’ahr orcs.

Update: I COMPLETELY Forgot Nightborne. Okay. First off they need more skin tones. They need more faces. Either the old/wrinkled faces need to be removed or more youthful ones added. They’re immortal elves why do they look like grandparents? They need more hair colour options. More tattoo options and the visuals need to be more vibrant and MOST IMPORTANTLY. They need an option for eye squint. Either as a separate option as several faces that have that option. (Similar to blood elves golden eyes. The squint embodies the personality of nightborne PC nb not having it is incredibly disappointing.

More customization is never a bad thing, but I think Kul Tirans need more than customization. They have been lacking Overpower/Execute animations since they released and it makes them feel unfinished. It’s one of the main reasons I can’t play them, since I feel like a warrior would fit well with them.

In addition, the opposite. I’d love for a flavor toggle for void elf void forms, to look more monstrous. Maybe a starry-night black eye color too. Night Elves got that through night warrior but it would have fit void elves so much better, in my personal opinion, or at least have been a good thing to have along with the night elves. Shared eye colors across races is perfectly fine.

But yeah, I wish void elves had a bit more horror options. Not tentacles, but things like multiple eyes or something really whacky. Argh…there was fan art of the ideas at someplace that I really really loved and would share if I could find it again, but it shows exactly what I’m thinking about.
Edit: Found some pictures (Well one. I can’t find the other one at the moment):

Void mode needs an animation update and then to be toggle like worgen two forms. They implied it was gonna be like that at blizzcon and instead we got a proc…

They do. How does that relate? All the allied races need more options. Having a unique skeleton doesn’t mean it doesn’t also need more options.

I want my fireballs to be tinged with the void.

Why bother when 80% of the population picks male human paladins with the pvp set.

Nope. Male human paladins are popular. But that’s no reason to neglect the other races. Void elves are incredibly popular in particular.

I took it as, some will argue against KT needing more options because of the skeleton. When something is typed like that, it’s a mocking/sarcastic tone - in this case, aimed at people who’d otherwise say “They don’t need options, they get the shiny new skeleton!”
I think.

Anyway, on topic, I was REALLY disappointed that the allied races have like 3 - 4 skin tones and like half the other options of normal races. I’m grateful to have them at all, but… ?? What were they so busy working on that a few extra skin tones or faces were too time consuming? Because I haven’t seen much in BfA to suggest they’d not have time.

I found the images I was looking for, YES! Not my art but I LOVE the concepts here:

(Not void elf but still cool)

Those aren’t void elves those are avoid elves. (joking)

Second and third one is… Amazing. Like can we have our void mode look like that? Instead of a crappy recolour of spriests shadow form?

Yeah see?! I agree, I want more monsterous, voidy elves! Which shouldn’t come as a surprise, as I’m a big monster fan :stuck_out_tongue: But yeah, I wish they’d do something more with it. To me void elves, though I have one and think she’s neat, are a bit boring as compared to what they potentially could be.

If void elves looked like multi eyed monstrosities I might make an elf for the first time ever.

Those who stare into the void, get more eyes with which to stare into the void.

My list:

Lightforged Draenei

  • Skin colors: Add a bronze-like reddish and a golden-like yellowish skin.
  • Hair colors: Add light red, dark red, dark gold and pitch black hair colors.
  • Tatoos: Add some more options for tatoos that include face markings.
  • Heritage Armor: Release the other colors of their heritage armor.

Nightborne

  • Skin Colors: Add a light gray (almost white) and dark gray (almost black) skin colors, similar to Dark Iron dwarves’.
  • Faces: Copy the 2-3 best faces for each gender, but with narrow eyes like the NPCs have.
  • Hair Styles: Include some hairstyles with flowing energy like some NPCs have.
  • Hair Colors: Include light and dark blue colors.
  • Jewelry: Double the jewelry options, by duplicating all available options, but now with added chin plate (from Heritage armor) for the duplicated slots (so every option has a variant with and without chin plate). Treat chin plate as a beard for purpose of hiding to not clip with helmets.
  • Jewelry color: Allow us to select gold, silver or bronze jewelry. Option applies to chin plate, ear jewelry and accessories of some hair styles.
  • Heritage Armor: Remove chin plate from heritage armor (since it’s now a customization option unrelated to gear). Separate shirt from skirt for the chest slot, and give us skirt and pants options for leg slot. Also, add a glove option that is gloveless but with glowing arcane fingers (like some NPCs have). And, finally, add the red/gold heritage armor variant that exists in the files.

Void Elf

  • Skin colors: Add light purple and fleshy with purple shadows skin colors.
  • Faces: Add some face options with purple glowing eyes (like blood elves have options with gold eyes).
  • Hair colors: Include silver-blue, dark red and bege (“corrupted blonde”) hair colors.
  • Hair Styles: Include some variants of existing styles, but without tendrils.
  • Tattoos: Include Alleria-like red, dark blue and dark violet patterns.

Some small good news: this is fixed in 8.2.

Dude that’s awesome. I’m definitely playing my KT now. Arms is my favorite spec and the lack of an animation on the most used ability really ruined it for me. Now all they gotta do is make it so they raise their arms for the selfie cam and it’s perfect

In addition they no longer morph when dancing.
