is there an allied races info hub ? i am looking for guides, and the best i get is a reference to achievements, just lists of things to hit, with no real answer as to where to start anything listed. what map ? what timeline ?

please fix the ui for the forums, i spent to long finding a post button the worked, it only works in all categories.
Wowhead has allied race guides.
If you don’t have time on your account, you can only post in some of the support forums.
If you recently added time to the account, log out of and then back in to the forums to refresh your forum status.

this seems to be more of a browser support thing, it displays non-working post button most of the time. i have to go into blizz posts, then over to new. this drops me in some sort of all posts room, but with a working post button

Are you trying to unlock the Highmountain Tauren? If so, you need a level 50 Horde character (and having completed the needed achievement, which can be done on any character Horde or Alliance) and he will be in the Orgrimmar Embassy
does this mean he cant be unlocked as a free account ?
i was trying to unlock races so i wouldn’t have to pay to do the boring stuff
i have other high level toons, but im not willing to pay to do busy work
You will need a level 50 to do the final unlock quest. For Highmountain, I do think that you can do the prerequisites on a free account. For all other allied races, you’d need to quest in zones that aren’t available until higher levels.
