With the new allied races being able to created as a Death Knight will the heritage armor still be awarded if you level the DK to 120? It says for the allied races you have to level from 20 - max so will it still count?

I think you answered your own question:
- To get heritage armor you must level from 20.
- DKs do not start at 20 or less so they can never “level from 20”.
Butttttttttt they might start at 20 in shadowlands So it’s a solid question

I highly doubt that. With the way DK abilities work, they wouldn’t be able to do damage unless they had all of their core damaging abilities from the start as they always have.
We don’t know how the scaling would work they’d prolly have those abilities at 20 it’s not like level 20 now it’s a whole new ball field and bases off their starting point in the current game and the level cap in 9.0 it’s extremelyyyyy likely they start at 20
OH you mean after the level squish. Apologies I thought you meant in 8.3… Unless that is when the level squish is happening?

I’m curious too. The only thing official, blizz official, that i’ve found so far is https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/958849351417176064 just says to level to 110 without boosting, race change and granted levels from recruit a friend. Doesn’t say to level 20 to 110 just level to 110.
Allied races will start at level 10 in Shadowlands. You’ll level from 10 to 60 to unlock the armor. This was all covered at Blizzcon.

but those of us that preordered the expansion get early access to allied race dks. They will start at 60 until then.
for now, you can’t use a dk to get access to heritage armor, in shadowlands this will change since death knights and demon hunters will start at lvl 1

Based on Blizzcon everyone starts at level 1. Period.
Everyone starts at 1.
At least read the damn article you linked…

At level 10, new players will be transported to or Boralus or Dazar’alor to begin their journey in the Battle of Azeroth expansion. They must stay within this expansion for their leveling journey.

The point is that DK and DH start at 1. So making an allied race DK will not block you from getting heritage armor.

Is reading just hard for you? The point of this thread was about allied races and heritage armor. Allied races will start at level 10 in Shadowlands. It’s written in the article YOU linked for Christ’s sake. Allied races will start a DK at level 10, and level to 60.

Yes I admitted I was incorrect in my initial statement.
But my point remains that yes – leveling an AR DK to max WILL result in you unlocking the heritage armor.

Yes you said it was a minor error, but then followed it right up with claiming DKs and DHs start at level 1… which is again wrong for DKs of an allied race.

Actually, that’s also wrong unless they do the level squish at the same time they implement AR DKs… If they implement them first, and you can start at 55, as it stands you won’t unlock the heritage armor (unless Blizz changes it).
Why are you so hostile? Is this really that important or is this your default response to minor errors in your midst?
In summary, you made points that revealed errors to another poster that were helpful, but also were a complete jerk over nothing serious.
