Allied Race Heritage Armor

Hi. I plan to roll a High Mountain DK. I would like to unlock the heritage armor with this character. Do I need to wait until 9.0, or will I be able to do this as a DK in 8.3? I’ve yet to see a blue post on this. Please can we get an official Blizzard answer before 8.3?

It seems like basic information that should have been included with the announcement. Yes, allied races can be DKs in 8.3. Yes or no, can they unlock heritage armor when you create one in 8.3?

Since the level-squish isn’t in 8.3, I’m fairly certain that they’re going to start at the same level as regular DKs, so a very likely no on heritage armor.

only thing official I’ve seen is that if you use a boost, recruit-a-friend granted levels, and race change will void out earning the heritage armor. haven’t seen anything official about leveling an allied race dk from 55 to 110. Which doesn’t use a boost, granted levels nor race change.
