Allied Race Characters LOCKED?!

I just went online after the most recent update and my allied race characters are Locked. I must “Upgrade” to Shadowlands to access them? They are my characters I ALREADY had. I even race changed my hunter. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Why should we HAVE to buy the next expac to access characters we Already have?
Sure, i plan to upgrade eventually, but this is -completely unacceptable-.
Blizzard, or Activision, w/e- You cannot take something people spent money on away without reason, and this is not a reason. I want my allied race characters unlocked.

Edit: I have BfA and I have unlocked these races myself.

They want you to buy the expansion another time.

Apparently they noticed, and its been fixed. my first post to the forums ever. I am glad to have my characters freed from an unfair locking. Thank you :slight_smile:
