Alliance will quit pvp

As someone who has played alliance for the last 10+years. I have experience this first hand. Couldnt agree more.

yeah sometimes, but it’s become much more frequent considering a faction specific class has been dominating BGs for most of the life cycle of this game

That’s fair. I can’t say I have any intention of getting the new expac for retail, but I will say SoD will be less without you.

I’ve been giving wow a break entirely. Weather is nice and my attention are on a couple others games at the moment. My interest might spark again soon, but time will tell. :person_shrugging:

New season of POE is soon. Last Epoch new season is out. Destiny 2 latest expansion seems good and have gotten great reviews. If SOD dies out, I have some options. =)

Account cancelled, reason listed is Blackrock PvP event on Crusader Strike Alliance. You cannot get to an instance at any time without corpse running for 20+ minutes. This is not PvP, this is not gameplay, and honestly I cannot imagine it is fun for either side. I do not pay a subscription to be someone else’s fish in a barrel. I’ll play a game that respects my time.

Anyone who played classic know how horde favored this AV map is.

Expect a 95% win rate as horde.

Lol Sod is nowhere close to being dead. It’s day 3. 70% of people havent hit 60. No raids out yet. Stop being a doomer

As someone that’s played multiple toons across both factions in multiple iterations of Classic - including Private Servers - there’s one fundamental thread that ties them. A singular similarity they all share.

Horde Players love to Zug and Alliance players are really, REALLY bad at PvP.

Your average Alliance 60 can get folded by a pair of 45s and at least a third of the time will be backpedaling when it happens. I’ve seen and done it probably hundreds of times over the years. Meanwhile most Horde players if they lost to a pair of deep-grays they’d uninstall the damn game.

so what we are seeing now is Natural Selection?

So what you’re saying is…you should have rolled on a PvE server.

You are making the issue way more complicated than it is.

I did. Phase 1 was done for us. They re-rolled to a PVP server to stay with the larger population of players. So I stopped playing on the PVE server and re-rolled on their server.

If World PVP was so good and beloved, then War Mode wouldn’t have replaced traditional PVP servers to an opt-in PVE server. Game Systems that wholly reward griefing, like this Eruption event, are terrible.

World PVP is never going to fair. But if it’s bad enough, people quit sooner. We only had 10 people come back to SOD, and 2 of them already left because of this BRM garbage.

Same im taking this as a blessing in disguise. I came back to try meat hook ya its awesome but feels so bad to check my friendlist and not a single person came back. Instead of making new friends im gonna just leave the game here and try to only remember p1.

Yeah didnt think the return would be this bad. 1 person in my guild that had 2 raids has hit 60 on alliance. 3 people in my horde guild. Not looking good

Shrug. Wild growth hit 10 layers not too long ago

It’s not fun. But people don’t queue up and I want this rank 10 set for tanking dungeons while slowly farm up my tier set. And because blizzard didn’t address shamans, and the additionally OPPRESIVE RANGED PvP meta that exists. Alliance are not queuing up. It’s horrible to play melee even as enhance in PvP now with how bad hunter traps and ranged instant damage spam is. But one key difference is horde has an s tier PvP ranged spec and alliance has a liability melee spec.

Pve servers are like 2 clicks away

Give me a server transfer and we have 10 more people leaving the server.

Eventually, we’ll quit because the stress of wasting 15min+ each time we want to play. We don’t want to re-grind on SOD, the runes are frustrating to collect, yet alone leaving behind the fun toys, like the Hex Stick.

Our choices are simple: Tolerate PVP or Quit.

When we quit after 2 weeks, then you can enjoy your pseudo-PVE servers. Enjoy running STV-like events forever, that’s as good as it’ll ever get.

You understand this is what alliance did to horde in p3 for months in incursions right?

You understand most Alliance playing now weren’t even around during that time period because there was nothing to do right?
