A more apt comparison is that Horde enjoys a meat-heavy diet and Alliance is Vegan.
Long ago, the Horde ran up into the Alliance’s salad bar and ate a bunch of hot dogs. The Alliance was forever traumatized and scarred by that, so much so that even after the orcs broke free of the bacon curse, the Alliance kept popping up to remind everyone about veganism.
