So does the Alliance technically have 2 symbols? The Lion of Stormwind and the Icon of Courage (Lordaeron symbol)?
Honestly outside of the PvP flag logo I don’t really see the Icon of Courage used much. It was the symbol of the Alliance of Lordaeron - in all other areas the Lion of Stormwind seems to have superseded it with the effective collapse of Lordaeron as a centre of power.
It also doesn’t help that the Icon of Courage, or at least the “L” of Lordaeron, is used in some cases by the Forsaken, including on their heritage armour.
The original human symbol was the Lordaeron now. Now it is the lion of Stormwind. Forsaken had the shattred mask of Sylvanas most of the time so I have no idea how they will compensate that. Not to mention the nation symbols of all other human kingdoms.
Not really, no. The L isn’t in use anywhere other than when Alliance players flag for PvP.
The lion of stormwind symbol that represents Lothar is the current and correct symbol.
