1. we have two of the most intelligent races in the game (gnomes, draenei), three if you consider the lightforged seperate from their less-glowy cousins. though tech-wise, their probably far more advanced considering they spent thousands of years with a naaru.
2. we have an incredibly advanced spaceship that's equipped with a laserbeam.
sure, the horde has goblins, but their strength is really more ingenuity then intelligence.
There's also the orbital ion cannon that the gnomes made in their starting zone.
I'm using the spaceship right now for ..um....research. Ignore the tin cans and empty bottles laying around the ship.

Because for the sake of story the Alliance CAN'T win. Not completely anyway. Neither can horde but lets face it thats extremely unlikely anyway.
Horde cannot be wiped out or half the playerbase will be up in arms. Alliance cannot be wiped out for the same reason. Problem is Blizzard did not think out faction balance at all when they did silly things like making Night Elves Alliance and giving Draenai a deathship. Its extremely clear that the Alliance holds all the power - and that just makes it ludicrous whenever Horde doesn't get obliterated, or even takes the advantage, because as already mentioned horde cannot be wiped out.
Blizz dug themselves into a hole making the factions so unbalanced. I don't think they can dig themselves back out of it

The Vindicaar could pretty easily wreck the Horde between blasting critical areas with the laser, sending in OP warframes, teleporting in troops past fortifications, etc.
SI:7 could probably watch for Sylvanas to enter some building and then have the Vindicaar roll up and nuke it before anyone else has a chance to do anything.
Will any of this happen? Of course not.
The writers can't curbstomp a faction and wrote themselves into a hole. Now everything's going to seem really dumb because nobody's going to go with the plan so simple and foolproof a 5 year could realize it.

Blood elves fall into that category too. We were banished after the sundering so a lot of our ranks were magic using high elves under Azshara.
It would turn into a horrible WildStar or Sw:Tor half *** spinoff. Some people like low tech. Fantasy is a box of whatever you make it. You don't kill off an entire faction just because you can.

actually no, draenei are. their civilization was hyper-advanced before intelligent life on azeroth was even a thing. they combined arcane, art, and science all into one.
