Alliance pve end content

i noticed that more often than not i struggle to find people to join me in m+ and I’ve been reading a lot of posts that claim that the horde side has a much more active community, how true is that?

Indeed, I used to be Alliance and prefer to be so, but its too hard to find groups.

Unfortunately rather true - it’s not impossible to do so on the Alliance, but it is much slower, and less reliable. You just have far less options, often you find yourself settling for whatever you can get.

I wish the faction split weren’t a thing for instanced PvE content. It serves no purpose, save to split players … and incentivize them to join a single faction for convenience.

Most people who care about raiding or m+ went Horde because Blizzard didn’t adjust racials fast enough and damage has been done.

For rogue the Alliance racial’s are better for PvE. The extra 2% secondary stat on human is pretty much a free stat amp without the corruption.

It doesn’t matter, lots of guilds went Horde for Goblin jump and it started a chain reaction that saw guilds just go Horde because it’s easily to recruit.

I’m not sure if racials were even the problem - I think as cross-realm content became more prevalent, people likely just switched to the Horde because that’d mean their LFG was, collectively speaking, more populated.

It’s just way more convenient to hop Hordeside, and browse all the ads Horde players are posting - you get more players joining your groups, too!

I have no doubt raiders chasing racials, and conversely people chasing those raiders played a part - but I don’t think it’s the only reason people want to just be on one side. Given the current state of the game, almost everything is made easier by being on a decent-sized realm, and on the dominant faction for your region.

It was specifically during KJ that Goblin jump made a lot of guilds do the swap.

Fair enough, though I have to wonder if the Horde wasn’t already starting to become numbers-dominant at that point.

It’d be kind of insane to spend that kind of money to hop to a faction that doesn’t have any kind of community to draw from - but then, I’ve never been an overly hardcore raider. :stuck_out_tongue:

Blood Elf AoE silenece, Goblin Rocket jump, Troll racial. All of these have sent people horde.

Not that Blizz cares, since they obviously prefer horde, with all the preferential treatment those guys get

Horde has been more popular ever since BELFs were released.

Horde has also been the dudebros of the faction world, We’ve been watching Blizzcon for years and its all the same

Hi I’m game desig-FOR THE HORDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
crowd goes wild
Shout out to the 3 alliance virgins whats up guys thanks for leaving your parents basement
crowd laughs

That’s why I can’t watch blizzcons. They are so cringy

Huh? I’m pretty sure alliance was still the most populated up until WOD I believe.

Sure, there’s more people on horde. It’s because all the people that make “what faction should I play?” or “What race is best for this class?” or “What should I eat today?” threads generally seem to go horde. People that can’t make decisions and fairweather fans

Alliance pugging is bad. Solution: Don’t PUG. I haven’t pug’ed in years. Pugging is for casuals. I wouldn’t PUG even if I was Horde. Guilds are the real powers, the real endgame, of WoW, not Pugs. Pugs are, well, just that. Pugs. Small, bulgey eyed dogs with breathing issues.
