It’s not considering you have to factor in pandaren are on both factions and most people only play drained because shamans can’t be human or nelf
Yep.
They’re pretty unique and no other MMORPG has a race quite like them. Plus, Blizzard actually gave them decent lore.
I love the Sethrak.
Naga are ugly imo. So to each their own.
Pandaren have historically always been low on the list even with both faction considered. I love when data sites like this are posted on these forums because people seem to have an aneurysm trying to digest it.
Remember that pandaran are on both factions.
Thought the Dark Irons were one of the better Allied races they put out.
Though they should of had their own dance.
This one honestly makes the most sense for the Alliance.
After we returned to Northrend and the Vrykul see how their weaker kin have come into their own and prove themselves to be worthy fighters, they praise them and accept them as family again.
Then apon finding out about the humans struggle against the orcs, are all to happy to join the fight.
it’s quite literally that easy and makes complete sense lorewise.
What I see when I look at this list is that roughly 45% of the game plays some type of elf.
if anything, no more elves need to be added to the game.
22 races and half the game plays an elf.
The problem is: This list is 0% catgirl, and 0% bunnygirl
Y’all right. Honeslty surprised they add up to that much.
My thoughts were more along the line of the Valarjar. The Horde desecrated their holy places, they have plenty of reason to want to get revenge. Northrend Vrykul would certainly work too though!
Crick elves who speak in redneckian-thalassa requiring a lengthy Al Bhed primer like quest chain. They can be bards or dragon knights or necromancers. They are immune to CC, stun, bleed, sunder, interrupt, and poison. After a 1 minute banjo buff, they increase damage by 25%, vendor prices reduced by 50%, and if they consume a gnome, they gain +5,000 to versatility that persists death
Great races for the 5% of the Alliance players.
I don’t mind Kultirans individually. But I always wondered… The Alliance is human focused, the Alliance had 2 Human races already (Humans and Worgen)…
Did we really need another Human with all the spotlight they have? People complain with “too many Elves” and the Alliance has 3 Humans. One less than the Elves on a single faction.
As a cousin to your elf race, being an elf as well… I agree!
Forget allied races. It’s a stupid marketing term for low effort variations of existing races. Zandis being the exception.
Just a normal race, fully fleshed out from the start would be nice.
Games losing players left and right…. “ really hope we get a wasted allied race next expansion” don’t bother fixing the game or anything just shoot out another allied race that people will complain about what’s required to play said allied race…
Based off your same logic we could conclude that people hate Highmountain Tauren.
But that isn’t true at all.
Alliance have Humans and Night Elves. They’re hard to beat.
Drawfs and Gnomes are very popular too.
I’m also not too keen to trust that website.
It says 1.5% of WoW play gnomes.
They used to be the best caster race for a long time, and not that many people care to race change.
i agree. if we just give the next allied alliance race a titanforge loot racial ability (+10% to titanforge your next loot drop), everyboday and their mothers will reroll alliance for those sweet savory bonus ilvls that everone raves about when it comes to clearing mystic content and being world frist
I honestly think the issue of faction imbalance is due to the more imposing nature of horde races. The alliance needs something that instills fear into other players, too. Something not based on humans.
Dwarves look good as any class. But I’m biased, all my alliance toons are dwarf/dark iron
Considering that the website has blood elves as 20% of the population and no other race is close to that number, I’d say what we really need is a ridiculously hot race
