I kinda wanted to make a gnome monk for the funny factor, and all I ever see is human monks and pandas. 
what race should I make my monk, I’m conflicted. If you’re someone who also considers spec, this one would specifically be a mistweaver.
Shoot me your thoughts.
Smaller people tend to be a lot faster and deadlier when picking up martial arts.

I made one a long time ago and named her Vicious and held onto it in case I ever actually followed through. It brings me happiness lol I don’t usually use words for names but it seemed too good to pass up.
My four Alliance monks are dwarf, worgen, panda and night elf.
I have to restrain myself from instinctively making a night elf lol it would technically be my first pick but I have so many already.
My four alliance monks are Mechagnome, Dark Iron Dwarf, Panda, and Human
But this mechagnome is my main…because mechagnomes are superior to ever other WoW race

Human, rep grind sucks enough as is. Plus, I mean, just look at me grasshopper.

Worgen actually look really cool as monks.
My one Alliance Monk is a Worgen and she’s pretty fun to play. I have two Monks; the other one is a Tauren.
I have a MechaGnome monk. It’s a good racial pick. I mainly only use the heritage transmog, if you like lots of variety you might prefer a normal gnome.
I also think dwarf is a solid choice.
I prefer smaller characters, they feel faster.
I would prefer a Kul’tiran monk, but they are severely lacking in customizations and that is enough to hold me back. I went human for the extra rep gains. The next choice for me would be dwarf for their racial and epic beards.

Bald male monks can pass as a Krillin from DragonBall Z.
