I have never seen this bad of alliance pvp in…months and months, completely getting stomped game after game. What the hell changed so bad this week to make alliance lose so hard? usually it takes 1 or 2 games to win the daily BG, now i have been trying for 3 days and havent won a single BG. This is getting top 2 or 3 in DPS every time as well. tons of other people must have noticed this too, what is going on?

I notice a lot of alliance players running around avoiding every fight thinking it’s ok to do no damage in a bg? Like their will power alone will win the game. Nothing you can do about it though

I honestly question what some of my Alliance teammates are doing at times, my Alliance alts are low-geared usually 435-440ish range, but yet I sometimes get 3rd-5th place on the bg charts? …that should never happen 
Then I’ll randomly look up some of my Alliance teammates on the armory, and notice some of them are 455-465+, so are they just not pushing their buttons or something?

Casuals are home instead of at work or school because of quarantine/lockdown. People that don’t care much about PvP are just bored and are like “Well, I guess I’ll just queue for a bg” when they have no heart in the game at all.

yesterday I played a game in EoS in which the WHOLE team was chilling at MT while horde took 3 basses and was carrying the flag. This was the last straw for me playing bgs on alliance side. Really so many incompetent players on alliance side for reasons unknown to me.

Today after getting pwned in many more, I asked them why they are essentially losing on purpose, most of the replies were like: chill dude, we are just having fun, or, Oh I’m just hoping for gear drops, or I only PvE so this is just for lulz.

I wanted to get my daily win, so I did something I’m not proud of to give my Alliance team a big advantage.
The Horde team actually capped first.
One of my teammates deserted.
But then my team managed to rally together.

Alliance win plenty … 50 percent . It’s easy to blame your team
/ faction whenever you lose .

uhh what? I’m at 50-52% on alliance. If anything they’re doing better than at the start of this expansion.
Won 66% of my games today on allinace. Coulda won the third one if our fc had been sitting on the cap when I returned the flag with 10s left. Alliance seem to be doing fine to me.
Sounds like user error.
Alliance is doing fine in bgs. Maybe find a friend or two to que with?

One thing I noticed last night when I was playing my horde toon, alliance tunnel vision.
Was in eots and we had a big fight in the middle for the flag and the alliance didn’t even notice we four capped them, by the time they noticed what had happened we had a big enough gap to win.

Brawls are also nigh impossible to win as alliance right now too. I’ve gotten in this week’s something different on the alt I’m focusing on, but at this rate that 440 conquest weapon is just gonna have to wait until next week.
I would bet a hefty sum that less than 30% of Alliance players even have the Shift-M objective minimap open in BGs.

Yeah, sad but probably true… I just leave my zone map up 24/7. Alliance has been slowly getting better over time, with BG week being the exception (groan). Can’t speak to epics though as I avoid’em like the plaque. lol
Agreed. I’m not the most geared healer LOL but I’m almost always top heals. Those other healers needa step their game up!

I’m 4 wins, 14 losses at the moment on aliiance… but they were all played during the BG week event.
Any theories as to why we’re worse than usual during BG week? Or is it like this always?
Regulars or epics? I went 5 for 5 on my di dwarf shaman this week so far (4 regulars for quest + 1 brawl). 100% win rate. Seems fine to me.
