Since this is Blizzard’s vision for “incentivizing” warmode for the rest of the expansion, it’s in our best interest as players to maximize the reward out of it.
Currently as alliance, having WM on does very little since the bonus is sitting at only 15%. The Against All Odds quest isn’t available either, and we need that back.
So lets get it back to 30%. Horde are usually very eager to turn warmode on (lok’tar!) so let them do exactly that. Put their warmode eagerness to our benefit.
We can work smarter and use this ridiculous system to our advantage. Thoughts?
Not that I’m having any problems in warmode (in fact, I’m actually having fun), but battlegrounds are worse than ever. I played 6 games today and won, one. Why? Because I called the shots and Alliance actually listened!
I work Swingshift so find guilds and pugs that raid in the morning or on Sunday is hit or miss (usually miss). I’m probably gonna switch to Horde eventually just so that I can experience heroic/mythic raids for once in my WoW career.
No it’s not. I’ve said all along, give both sides the quest to get as many in WM as possible, maybe raise the kill count significantly, and just give buffs like the 30% to the underdogs.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with Alliance camping flight points, or just participating. No, you see where the problem comes in is where we literally have to shove a candybar in your face and say “this will help”. People always try and game the system and it just leads to a one time boost then once they figure you are gaming the system they change it to something less desirable.
Not to mention just how unpleasant everyone views you for it.
I honestly couldn’t care less how a bunch of random people on the internet view me. I had no interest in turning WM on before the candybar and I have no interest in turning WM on without it. Seeing as, at the very least, Against Overwhelming Odds boosted Alliance participation in WM it accomplished it’s goal.
You will, in time. Once you see most people mocking you and you find shelter from the scorn few and far between. It’s easy to brush off peoples opinion until it becomes the majority, then it just eats your soul. You are free too have opinions ofc but opinions don’t come without consequences.
