ive noticed the rate in which alliance are ganking is rising. i believe it is directly related to the fact that bg’s are unwinnable for them and the allys who want to pvp have no choice but to gank lowbies now

Pretty sure ganking lowbies happens on both sides nearly equally relative to population.
People act like players are actually Horde or Alliance and inherently different irl rather than just people playing a game on either side.
The only difference is people with the min-max mentality are more likely to favor one faction and in my experience those same people are more inclined to ganking and exploiting any advantage they can get.
Currently that favored faction has shifted to Horde due to racial imbalances so I’m quite sure Ally are getting ganked at least as much if not more so.

oh yeah back in tbcc when the horde had incredibly high queue times so they ganked lowbies to supplement honor
Heh, I remember back during my Undead Rogue’s Rank 14 grind in 2019, Id queue Alterac Valley up at the BG entrance in Hillsbrad and then rush over to the Alliance Entrance to try and gank anyone riding up through the valley there.
This doesnt sound like that tbh. Just sounds like OP got PvPed on a PvP server

dawg there is literally horde in duskwood, redridge, hillsbrad, and other zones doing the same thing.
Just because you got beat up doesn’t mean only one side is doing it.

i have 40’s on both sides. never got corpse camped as a lowbie while leveling ally. on horde its happened repeatedly. corpse camped by 40s as a lowbie

I go through at the end of every night and gank every single Horde lvl 20 to 35 around SS, TM and AB. Especially near rune locations and quests. I now have a group of like 7 or that do it and we clear the place. Then we change layers a couple of times (usually only 2 or 3 layers on at that time) and clear there too. Usually, we make 3 or 4 rounds, with care to only gank same ppl no more than 5x.

why do you even NEED to win in BG’s? Certainly not marks for rep. There is NO reason to win BG’s now. WHO CARES? I go to WSG with my exalted tabard on and do exactly what I please, I don’t need to win. Might team up and get 70 hk’s, which is pretty easy if you aren’t playing objectives.

You don’t get it. Most ppl don’t CARE if they win or not. And no, when you que in and see 6 shammy’s it isn’t going to be fun. A team of 15 on Alliance and maybe 1 healer. And that 1 healer usually leaves (ALWAYS leaves if I am that ONE healer). Leaves and doesn’t que again for several days. There is nothing “equal” or fun in BG’s. Participation keeps creeping downward.
