Actually… no. There is a bug report form you can use in game and on the forums. Posting it on GD isn’t reporting it. Flagged.
For the ALLIANCE! ):<
Ideally so Blizzard can hotfix it?
I actually had that random death during the Deathfang quest happen to me yesterday, on my Alliance main. I didn’t notice anyone dueling, though; Deathfang just seemed to randomly turn and attack a belf hunter who was standing nearby. Killed her, reset, despawned, and then boom, my toon died to a dot.
WM was off for me, too.
Horde are known to be pretty competitive. This time, they are competing in a crying contest vs reigning champion Anduin Wrynn.
Hahahaha, epic, see, this is great fun, not this police state that takes away all fun that WoW has become. I would be laughing if it was happening to me.
Is it reading or just comprehension that’s your problem?
I’m guessing you can’t tell time as well as the inability to read.
The op has an edit about wm that was added after my post. The other posts were likewise written at the same time as mine and therefore were not up at the time of my post.
If your going to be an expiative of your choice. At least have an argument that holds up to scrutiny.
who would thought the horde would complain so much when the alliance has barely the numbers like the horde…
it’s crazy these days.
Oooh, so that’s what was happening. I was trying to do the fetch quest the other day and Deathfang kept going crazy and attacking an Alliance player. I eventually got it done and it never killed me, but I was curious how a green mob ended up being attackable at all.
This isn’t universal. On my server Alliance heavily outnumber the Horde to a very visible degree.
To be fair on one of my servers alliance far outweigh horde so that bit about the numbers doesn’t really fly unless you squint.
But I just sat through a genchat conversation in Ardenweald where hordies were proudly telling each other that all their alts were going to be nightfae because of how beautiful everything was while the other covenants are so evil looking. This rubbish… is what happens when alliance leak onto horde and bring their nonsense with them. The complaining is an optional extra. Feel free to take them back anytime you want.
Then submit for it to be moved? You flagging it will only have it moved. I lose nothing here.
So at what point during bugging a quest mob does the pvp happen?
When I was leveling this toon, it was reversed. A bunch of rogues were on my bum near the House of the Chosen.
I was also ganked by a group of 5 Horde in Revendreth.
OP has stated multiple times that they have War Mode off and that the Alliance were dueling.
That’s just as bad as Alliance players who run through WQ areas dragging all the enemy AI with them over to where horde players are, not realizing it does not work like they want it to.
Actually if anything flagging this has made it easier to get it fixed, Moderators will realize this isnt some bug promotion but a report, itll be moved to bug report fourm, where they will have to tell someone “hey theres this bug thingy”…So actually this works.
To the folks that are still stating this is a World pvp thing I’m telling you all for the 4th time now WM is off, this is an exploit that is happening when WM is OFF not on.
Technically you’re exploiting the bug by causing the aggro to begin with? Kinda your own fault sir, the poor Alliance character simply doesn’t want to die for your mistake aggro…in raids accidentally drawing aggro to others gets YOU kicked… (edit also entirely not clear who is doing the aggro in this scenario is the Alliance player also the Warlock or are you?)
How am I stealing aggro when I’m standing still? Then on top of that, how is attempting to do a world quest properly an exploit?? Lastly what??
1.) Attempt to do world quest (wm off)
2.) opposite faction (wm off as well) has a duel that causes the NPC of WQ to aggro on to one of their pets (this case a voidwalker)
3.) Said alliance (wm off still) run away despawning the NPC
4.) Me WM off unable to do WQ because NPC has despawns, dies to a random dot that isnt specified in the debuff bar…
5.) its my fault…
What?!
So you want people to report alliance players for running away from an npc? that is attacking them. Not sure I got that straight because I can’t believe you think this is griefing.
How it that griefing horde players.
