Alliance Griefing Assaults in war-mode

So you’re basically a turn it on for the extra 10% while hating PvP type person?

The inhabilty to do quests is on there bub.

If i have to take a 10% pay cut to do something without being griefed.

thats griefing.

Had that happen the other day. A mage running around the Wetlands, killing all the NPC’s in the little Night Elf camp.

Just brought my DK over, thankfully ended up in the same shard, and taught him the benefits of the Spelleater and Dark Simulacrum PVP talents.

My god I’ma have to bow out of this one. The amount of salt flowing from this guy is likely to give me heart disease. Guess it’s back to camping hordies at flight points and WQs

Common Problems

* A player of the opposite faction is camping or killing NPCs

  • A player keeps killing me over and over
  • Keep getting camped and can’t play the game at all

You signed up for it. Enjoy. Not against the rules.

There is nothing wrong with roaming around in a raid killing people. camping bodies is fine.

sitting in one place waiting for ur bait to come and stopping them from progressing further. thats greifing.

The 10% is a bonus for doing it the hard way.

It was not free. You just got used to not having to earn it.

If you don’t want to PvP then don’t join the PvP mode.

need i put the definition of griefing again?

You can get a group of horde and clear out the alliance. That is what warmode is about. The point of the 10% is to compensate for the time it takes you to get that group together and do it. It is not a free payment to you for clicking a button in a major city.

Allowable world PvP.

Stop it Patrick, you’re scaring him!

Harassment, “griefing,” abusive behavior or chat, conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others, deliberate inactivity or disconnecting, and/or any other activity which violates Blizzard’s Code of Conduct or In-Game Policies.

There it is From the TERMS OF USE

just a bound contract, over some guys words anyday.

You’re the same level. That’s not griefing, that’s just them being better and/or more organized than you.

You possess the potential to either fight back or turn Warmode off.

We were having a grand old dust-up in Anyport the other night.

Horde were outnumbered, sure, but they put up a nice fight. I even died once on my DK. Ran afoul of a druid that I underestimated.

We were camping the area yes, but the Horde managed to group up and drive us out a few times. All it takes is building up, and fighting back.

Same thing happened in Redridge. We were wasting Horde that were on the Saurfang quest (though, tbf, they started it by killing a group of lowbies that we doing the Gnoll quests). We’d keep them camped, theyd group up and kill us, we’d push them out again.

Your false definition. Blizzard has already said it is not and the Wiki page you are looking at even says “Methods of griefing differ from game to game. What might be considered griefing in one area of a game may even be an intended function or mechanic in another area.”

Per dev’s there really isn’t anything as griefing when it comes to pvp and players on players… They’ve stated multiple times there is a pvp solution to the issue…

On a personal note, I’d with they’d fix their sharding tech so it was a little more balanced.

Once again, you don’t get to define the ‘unreasonably’ in that sentence. Blizzard does. And they did. A long time ago.

But hey, you keep arguing yourself in circles. I hope you’re your own guildmaster, because if I were leading your guild on Emerald Dream – a former PvP server – and I saw this post, you’d be booted.

Subjective and, in this case, Blizzard has viewed the current topic as acceptable game play, not grieving. If it wasn’t intended, then they wouldn’t have lumped all of those quests for both factions right on top of each other for the incursions. They would have split them across the zones.

All you are doing is proving that you are failing at understanding. You have a PvP solution to get a group together and a non-pvp solution of turning off warmode, but have decided not to do either.

You want the benefit with out the risk/time involvement. Also you are missing"

Blizzard defines what is unreasonable and they have decided that corpse camping with WM on is not unreasonable and is a valid form of PvP.
