There were always about 40 Alliance players camping her, with 1 to 4 assassins (because next to her WQ, Horde players have the end of the assault chain)

This is an accurate summation of EVERY assault in a Horde zone, regardless of PvP weekly. Boy what an unfortunate happenstance that the other faction be subjected to what the vast minority experience every assault.

He’s most likely including the Darkshore Warfront quest being up at the same time. It’s a logical fallacy that’s been tossed around a bit by conflating the two things as the same incident.

I’m curious on how you did the math here. Considering there was only one quest, which could only be completed once per toon, to get a 400 piece, how did they get 102 items? The quest was quickly removed the second week as it wasn’t intended to be re-introduced, and items obtained by the select few who managed to take and complete the quest were subsequently removed.

I would love to see your source on that.

We can assume only the one each if you wish. It is still an extremely large amount of luck and time to replicate the same results.

They used in game currency from selling runs etc, apparently it cost about 15 mil in-game gold.

Eh would have got them the World First probably if Jaina wasn’t so overtuned. They are still probably the closest guild to getting her down gear wise.

You may not be able to complete it in a raid but it sure doesnt stop the Allies from running in an enormous zerg. Last weekend there was at least 5-10 Allies at every shared FP in Voldun. That day there was a iLvL 380 reward from the Tortollan emissary so the WQ near Tortollan Refuge had no less than 30 Allies camping it . All were buffed with the +30 buff and im sure working to complete the quest for free iLvL 400 gear. Meanwhile I saw less than 10 Horde in the zone … seems legit , GG Blizz.

There was no AOO quest last week and the ilvl of the drop was reduced to 385. Those Alliance player’s where killing your toon for nothing more then the sport of it.

BTW the quest can’t be complete in a raid.

Both sides have camped that, I have died on alts to Horde camping it many times…

So turn WM off, do the quest and then turn it back on. That or just wait until later in the day, only a fool continues to try something that is clearly doomed to failure.

A - There was no AOO last week
B - It has already been nerfed to 380 when it retuns.

You should probably figure out what you are QQing about before you do it…

FYI they werent killing me. Its not hard to predict where the Ally zerg will be and avoid them. What the Aliies lack in skill they make up for in numbers i guess

Numbers are what both factions use when they want to dominate an area. If you would like to 1v1 I am down, once i get home from work.

Interesting, as well, is that I myself fail to see so many Horde player camping the Alliance hub when I do 6 assaults in a row

Why should I turn it off. I play oin a PvP server. I’m not someone coming from a PvE server or someone that would whine about getting ganked in the world. I’m pointing out a serious flaw and abuse of a system umplemented by Blizzard. I remember when you could get banned for going under Orgrimmar or the sewers of Dalaran because Blizzard stated you were abusing the system even though it was something they didn’t correct until Org was redesigned. Pretty sure the Sewers got fixed a while back as well. I wonder how happy Alliance would be if Blizzard started tossing out the ban hammer for people exploiting this system. Last time I checked, Blizzard had a straight up stance that any abuse of any system in their game was a violation. Let’s see them stick by that statement and either start the bans or fix the issue…
