Alliance gets FREE ilvl 400 weekly!? What the!?

So neither side can be indignant about only one faction doing that. Both factions do

When does horde get the 400 weekly?

400? Probably never since they nerfed it. The quest Against Overwhelming Odds? When horde have fewer people in WM one week in a region.

No wonder people are leaving this game so quickly. I play both sides and literally have no reason to log in anymore. There is nothing fair or fun. I never had a problem on alliance and never understood this bonus nonsense. They better fix this before there is literally no one left in this game.

You played with WM on as alliance? What activities?

Regardless, your one experience is different from my one experience and probably different from another personā€™s experience. Blizz has the data to base their decisions on. I suggest watching part of this Q&A they did recently as it explains some of their rationale for WM changes. Iā€™ve said a lot of the points over and over in recent history so I donā€™t really want to rehash them again.

Yes and I mained Alliance for 8 yrs and just recently started horde toons. Most of my pvp has been alliance.

I donā€™t have to watch Blizzard. Theyā€™ve been lying to the player base for years and couldnā€™t care less what we want or think which is why they is a shadow of itā€™s former self. Everyone I know has left, is leaving, or canā€™t stand the game anymore.

not really .the people I am talking about keep their wm always on

That 400 gear is sure helping. 1/20 top guilds is alliance.

Do you have likeā€¦ some proof or leads or even theories about these lies?

Yes, both sides camp a determined hub in a determined shard every day. Shard hop and you are in the clear, most of the times. That was not what happened last week, when they were farming the ilvl 400 item, there was no clear shard. This week, there are less people, but today was impossible again to kill Lt Williams, no matter how many shards you tried that on. There were always about 40 Alliance players camping her, with 1 to 4 assassins (because next to her WQ, Horde players have the end of the assault chain)

Yep.

Good to know we are on the same page

:blue_heart:

They are the vast minority, then. Only reason why there are always less Alliance players with WM on (and thatā€™s why they get the weekly) but when there was an ilvl 400 on the line, there were tons more, but by the end of the week, there were less again (though several left their WM on, thatā€™s why this week bonus is not 30%, but 15%)

Again, ā€œThat was not what happened last week.ā€ Just to be clear since you left most of my message unquoted

Does 1 week compare with several months though?

During several months, it was the same, both factions camped flightpatgs, WQs and hubs, and changing shards left you in the clear. For one week (and a little more, since it continues to happen, or at least it happened today), one faction outnumbered and camped the other on every shard, at a particular hub during the incursion, to unfairly and unavoidably farm an unfair loot.

Since we are not talking about months, here, but about a determined quest, itā€™s worth mentioning the difference

While I can accept the concept of an incentive to make players want to change to have War Mode on or more specifically Alliance.
The idea of giving them an easy iLvl 400 item is probably too much it would have been fine to be a 385 i.e. = to Normal BoD loot iLvl. By giving them items that are such a massive difference to what the other faction generally has access too is the issue
Consider a fresh level 120 for Horde might get access at most a 370 or if they are lucky a 385ā€¦ while a Fresh Alliance 120 gets a 400 easily by jumping in a raid group of Horde killers and literally can go afk while the others kill the alliance in Zandalar port for example. Thatā€™s the problem the gap in item level is critical issueā€¦ Essentially why should Alliance get a 400 easy and horde canā€™t even get an item above 370 for general quests?

well such things only give rise to ganking and extreme toxic behavior that blizz wants to promote .
The reaction from horde has been to instead come in alliance areas and kill low level toons .
Yesterday I saw loch modan ,arahi highlands ,gold shire getting constantly camped and attacked by a group of 5 hordes .
It is now happening like everyday .

Lol, not gonna lie thatā€™s kinda funny. Even if I donā€™t condone it.

Iā€™m curious on how you did the math here. Considering there was only one quest, which could only be completed once per toon, to get a 400 piece, how did they get 102 items? The quest was quickly removed the second week as it wasnā€™t intended to be re-introduced, and items obtained by the select few who managed to take and complete the quest were subsequently removed.
