Man, this sounds familiar, I remember when a faction was upset because the other faction could farm gear and get a high level piece right before a raid released. Hrm. I believe the general consensus was to ask people to stop whining lol and that their turn will come shortly.

That’s what Alliance said when Horde got first access to the first Warfront, and then the gear levels were patched right before it switched hands…

That said, I believe both sides should have access to the quest. I want war, not slaughter. I like warmode more when my hunter is the only Alliance in an area, hiding from Horde teams and picking off stragglers.

Yes yes, blizzard has given the finger to the horde who were able to gear up their alts at the beginning of arathi before the gear score req was put in place. Or do you feel that doesn’t count because it was a whole tier ago? Also, the alliance players were offered a reward to turn warmode on because nobody felt like getting genked and the hardcore hordies spent the last few months raging about the lack of alliance to farm with 40 man raids. Chill dude, the zandalari will be released eventually and most people will switch. Once the alliance is depopulated due to switches or disgust over the lack of players, nobody will have to worry about it .

When I played back in Vanilla and BC (just recently came back), I was primarily alliance, we raided Org all the damn time.

Thing is that this won’t fix anything either. When Alliance players are done with their assaults and their ilevel 400 quest, they’ll just turn off warmode and leave it back where it started. As for guilds, only the guilds dead set on pushing mythic world first would actually consider faction changing for a first reset advantage. The thousand dollar price tag on a full guild faction change is not something to be taken lightly.

All this does is aggravate half the playerbase, encourage more people to abandon wpvp, and perpetuate the free high level loot issue we’ve had for so long.

My point, if you reread my post you originally replied to, is that Blizzard has been holding Alliance hands since day one when they made it easier for the Alliance to attack Horde cities and harder for the Horde to attack Alliance cities. I was clearly not talking about now. I wasn’t talking about post flying, I wasn’t talking about anything but how WoW launched. Day one, it’s right there in the post.
Things have changed since then but Blizzard has never stopped the Alliance hand holding.

everyone is gonna be done or burnt out on this tier within 1-2 months anyways

sides most people are just waiting for 8.2 where the azurite system stops being COMPLETELY antagonistic to its own players

Your brain has to actually be completely broken to think a free 400 item that the Horde cannot get is the same as an item from a rotational system. Which btw has started with Alliance this time around. So now you get the free 400 item Horde can’t get and the free 400 item from the Darkshore rotation. How do you even function on a daily basis in society?

However, they think that the Item Level 400 piece might be too high. When this was added, it was months into Uldir, but now most people haven’t even stepped into the new raid and are getting Heroic pieces. They’re thinking starting next week, it’ll be a 385 with another bonus like Conquest points instead.

You don’t know how to use your brain do you? The 370 warfront gear the Horde got was set on a rotation, we got it, than alliance got it, than we got, than alliance got it.
