Sure thing
But the Horde and Alliance get to Balinda at the same time. And the Alliance get to Drek faster from Balinda than the Horde get to Van from the same place.
How is Balinda not the center of the map?
Open up a google image search of AV map and tell me exactly in what reality is Balinda the centre of the map.
But we know the travel times. Horde/Alliance get to Balinda at the same time. And the bosses are roughly the same travel time from BalindaâŠexcept the Alliance gets to Drek a bit faster.
Travel times? umm⊠what? Where did you pull that from?..
Distance wise, Horde are closer to Van from their staring cave than alliance are to Drek from theirs.
Then why do Alliance win Boss Races?
We solo pull Drek better
Both sides can solo pull the Boss. But Alliance get to Drek faster.
But now weâre at the same double standard as before. âWhen we win, its because weâre better. But when we lose, its the maps fault.â
Try debunking any of the points I linkedâŠ
I know you wont, because you cant. So you are stuck arguing these semantics.
The cave position isnât even about how close it is to the centre, its about how close it is to the IBGY. If you canât see how that is a massive advantage, then you donât understand AV.
Or we could stay on topic.
Thatâs not actually a double standard. If the map is more difficult for a team and that team wins despite it then itâs because they were better.
Disprove god,
you canât?
Checkmate atheists
Prove god
You cant?

Perhaps, But the map is debatable. But we have historical precedent as evidence towards map balance.
Why would historical precedent apply when the game was played differently?
Easy way to solve the debate would be to randomly assign sides. See if the win percentage changes, that would be a sign either way.
However, itâs pretty simple to see that Horde can arrive at Balindaâs building at the same time the Alliance do. Thatâs an advantage since the game is a race to objectives. Is it the sole determinant of victory? Of course not, but it does start the battle unevenly.
There are a lot of factors here and only by testing changes can we see how we can make this a better game. Itâs likely that no one thing is completely the cause of the lopsided games.
Because if you played it differently today, you could recreated historical precedentâŠ
I argue that Balinda is the center off the map. That the end Bosses are both equidistant from her.
I would agree with this. But i doubt it would ever happen unfortunately. It would be a neat experiment.
Umm⊠no, that kind of relies on the opposition playing the way they played. Unless youâd like to convince all horde to stop turtling and start racing, your argument kinda falls apart.
will this mean that horde will have shorter queues?!
