As someone who isn’t a fan of either race since I don’t care for small characters I understand not being thrilled about it, but don’t act like the amount of work that went into these by the devs is the reason you’re unhappy.
Mechagnomes are a remold of gnomes and would not function as an option for customisation on gnomes

Tagging on that mechagnomes have some of the most fantastic racials we’ve seen yet, and are also steps toward customization we’ve not yet experienced involving specific limb treatment.
To be fair…almost all Allied races are technically reskins in some regard. However! I don’t mind Mechagnomes. I’m not ecstatic about them but that’s partially because I’ve never cared for gnomes or their gnome counterparts. I do know people who’ve liked the idea of mechagnomes way back though.
Well…at least they have solid racials. But I can’t imagine looking at feedback and not doing one of the more major races that Ally has been asking for for quite some time.
Of course Mechagnomes are reskins. That’s the point of ARs.
And if they mean they mean they should have just been a customization option, well so should a good chunk of the ARs, including Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Lightforged Draenei.
Agreed. The skin color even colors the metal and not your skin. omg and you can mix and match parts. I’m so in love with them lol

honestly they never have though, with the exception of Maghar. And they didn’t even give us the outland ones. They gave us the AU ones that could’ve been a barbershop option. People have been wanting Helves, Arrakoa, and Ogres for so long.
Perhaps when they make their final expansion they’ll say okay heres Helves, Ogres, and Arrakoa lol.

Almost ALL of the allied races couldve have been customization options. The fact that people were seriously expecting something like Sethrak seems crazy to me.
Also I’d glady give Vulpera to the alliance if I could cause then I could kill them. I hate their lore, their looks and especially their voice acting. I’ve been a long time gnome hater but Vulpera have taken their slot.

I’ve already answered this question in another thread, and why you’re coming after me specifically when I’ve been nothing but pleasant in your direction doesn’t make much sense to me. I do not main Alliance. If I did, I would certainly roll a mechagnome because it would be fun, and I make it a habit to collect heritage armors. I don’t have the requirements for them, or Kul Tirans.

To be fair they got Zandalari trolls too, something the playerbase was also quite happy about. Or at least a portion of the playerbase I’ve seen and have known about.

So at all times (You may have seen folks glitch out) you actually have all customisation options available, just the ones you select are visible. That’s why skins (Like the BElf golden eyes or the Night Warrior) can be simply added on
Mechagnome customisation completely replaces the arms, legs, hairs and facial options of their model. They can never have my particular beard style. They are an entirely new model. Despite looking the same, on the backend, they’re as different as humans are to orcs
Void Elves, Lightforged, Mag’har and Highmountain I’ll give you, but Nightbourne, Dark Irons (the firey beards) and the obvious two in Zandy and KTs couldn’t have been

I was okay with it cause it was something different. I was more excited for KT until I saw how they walked. I went back to Horde on my shaman. Im talkin about things people asked for. I never really heard anyone in previous expansions say hey I wanna be a Zandalari. I’ve heard people ask for Arakkoa, Helves, and Ogres
I’m not because both statements I made are both objectively correct. Combat Analysis and Re-arm are both racials when discussing an arena meta will be fantastic racials. A straight up damage buff in a meta where it’s very difficult to punish along with giving an exhiiliration-esque passive that auto activates at the same health perecentage safeguard does? Mechagnomes have two of the best racials for arena in our current situation.
Further, limb design is interesting because it opens up the idea for more races to have more customization down the line. You’re really reading far too much into what I’m saying as some kind of attack instead of just a logical statement that is objectively obvious.
Edit: I didn’t say mechagnomes were the prettiest, or the best thing ever. I said objectively speaking they’re steps in good directions involving venturing into customization fields that are different, and their racials are good (arguably some of the best we’ve seen out of an AR). Why is that such a bad thing?
