Alliance Bias

On the other side of the Atlantic, yes. Unless it’s popular in Canada/Aus/NZ and I’m unaware.

news flash to the alliance: horde players do not like our leaders getting forced into villainy for reasons. do you want to know why horde players defend garrosh and slyvannas ? bc there was once a time when they were interesting and complex characters. And then blizzard informs us that we must hate them. to the point of usurping them and even “killing” them. we defend them bc we remember them before they “became evil”. and then they do worse and worse stuff. we defend them bc we liked them but apparently we arent supposed to anymore. apparently if we still do we support things like “genocide” and “fascism”. our characters are forced into supporting characters who run to the alliance for help even tho we are horde.

and the last actual OG true horde leader we have? is killed by literal trash in a bad cinematic that everyone (escape buttoned) (skipped)

They could’ve done something with Sylvanis that wasn’t making her Arthas 2.0.

Blizzard doesn’t favor any faction. They just like bad soap opera writing

Well Thrall and Baine are men, so that has something to do with it nowadays. They were once saviors of the world, and now they are cosplaying as Ray Romano, hiding in the corner.

I guess at least they are weaklings now; means they wont be villains’.

Sylvanas, yes. And very much so. Garrosh, no way.

What Blizzard did to Sylvanas was such a colossal waste.

Yeah that was inexcusable.

Are you another one of those people that has no idea how war mode works? Cause it seems like it.

Garrosh was honestly more entertaining as a villain then he ever was as sad orc in Nagrand

Tyrande is raising a lot of death flags that and if you haven’t played the next part of the NF campaign yet. Tyrande has a buff that takes out like 85% of her health deals it as damage and heals her back to full over and over. The power is legit getting really close to killing her.

Garrosh wasn’t always a power-hungry, crazed, warmongering, small-headed bafoon. Remember, he was taken under the wing of Saurfang was being taught appropriate leadership roles. Whether he was depicted actually caring about being properly taught is another story entirely.

In Nagrand, he was quite peaceful, very honorful and highly dutiful.

What they did to Garrosh is simply turn his character upside down because they needed a villain. They didn’t even do it subtly, either. They literally fabricated everything villainous about him out of thin air. The entirety of the underground of Orgrimmar for instance? How in the seven burning Hells did that get down there in under half a year chronologically?

I dunno about that one.

I picked it up from watching a lot of British television. That said, this isn’t solely the US forums despite the address.

Tyrande is reminding me of Jaina where they kept trying to push her as a potential raid boss for multiple expansions even after people got sick of it

I’m sick of looking at your pretty corpse, Sylvie.

Don’t talk to me about spotlights.

In what world are you living as it’s been shown time and time again that the majority of the player base including devs play horde

play Alliance if you don’t like it , obviously Blizz is trying to draw more people to the faction that needs it.

Horde gets the same bad writing Alliance does.

Wow a story telling as a whole hasint been good for a while legion being the most recent good example. But as for allowance bad writing in and of itself? Nah horde started every war 1st-4th. Not the alliance fault we had to put em down. Ok the third war wasint all the hordes fault but they damn sure enabled it

The horde being the aggressor and the Alliance being a punching bad is the bad writing I am talking about.

We lost nothing from a gameplay perspective. Undercity is alive and well.

Use Zigormi once, and you will always have the old Tirisfal Glades when you go there.

The lore points you make I can’t really refute. While Horde leaders die, Alliance leaders are practically all demi-gods (Tyrande, Malfunction, Magni, and a little less so, Jaina).

I guess… Gnome King is only still alive due to Galkywix’s incompetence and Genn is only good for yelling at Sylvanas shaped louds, which at least made the cutscene where Anduin was kidnapped HILARIOUS!
