Just saw some Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne cinematic(s). Can’t believe Blizzard favors the alliance this much…this is how you all sound. Ignore this thread.
Done.
Because 10 characters
Post must be at least 10 characters. huh?
because cinematics from 16 years ago reflect how the devs current disposition towards the factions.
but hey, lets play your game, the horde got an extra campaign in WC3, the Rexxar campaign.
the World of Warcraft expac The Sorcerers Stone (2035) will have a few more alliance themed virtual reality cinematics and I WILL complain about it on the neo-forums
Funny thing is: Warcraft 3: TFT was “Horde, the Game”.
You had Sylvanas and the Forsaken. You had the entire Horde stand alone campaign. And you had Kael’thas and his Blood Elves.
The only outlier was Maiev and then the Naga.
Funny how Sylvie is Arthas 2.0…I expect more from Blizzard Entertainment.
It’s almost like when the cinematics AND the story are both focused on the same faction, it’s bias.
Warcraft 3 had Horde story but Allianceish cinematics.
Lots of Alliance posting in here, I would love to see more from the underrepresented faction AKA The Horde,
The current blizzard team was probably learning to fingerpaint when those cinematics were made…
Funny but you’re dodging the very serious very important issue. Why should I care about Arthas’ dad being murdered and Athras going crazy. I play HORDE.
Well… Your trying to make a comparison between two different games made by two different teams roughly 20 years apart…
I understand the point your trying to make but its like comparing apples to meat pies…
If you feel Arthas and his father have no relationship with the current Horde, you must have hated Warcraft 2, because the Horde in there has about as much relevance to the modern Horde.

EDIT: quoted this wrong!
Thank you, point I’m actually trying to make is that Alliance players have more to complain about WRT “horde bias” than the fact that the horde get the dope cinematics and …DRAMA~!
I’m actually gonna get serious for a sec bc while i’ve mained horde for 12 years I can understand why alliance feel like theyve been shafted this expac But I feel like there is this mindset that a lot of alliance players have where if theyre not currently wining at pvp and getting cinematics they complain and whine and moan that there is some conspiracy at Blizzart HQ to actively ruin an alliance players personal EXP with WoW. You get what I mean?
I personally have horde biased, but I think its a reach to say blizz as a whole has a biased for the horde when there are multiple books and multiple past expac cinematics and cut scenes about alliance characters and alliance lore. A lot can happen in 2 years.
Right? Holy cow, preach it.
No
Frozen Throne was all about a little nudge into how WoW was going to be Horde Bias.
I still have the Blizzard tin foil hat they sent to all Alliance players. COD of course.
