i like alliance av premades the game is fast in stead of 1h getting the same honor.

wsg alliance premaids i dont like so i dont do wsg.

FW GY is litterally in an open field. you can attack it from all angle.

IW Choke is AMAZINGLY EASY to defend

the hard part about the stormpike choke is the distance between GYs. doesn’t apply to field of strife.

Ramp leading to FW towers and RH is easy to defend and painfully difficult to attack if fortified with players.

the archer of both frostwolf tower don’t even have LoS to attack…

Bridge leading to DB Bunkers are easy to defend, but can also be completely bypassed in this version of AV using the backdoor jump.

you can small hop over the horde fence then run up to the relief hut aggroing maybe 1 npc.

c’mon.

Yes, we win PUG vs PUG because ALL of the alliance good players are in premades.

When that didn’t happen, the first two days, we lost every game in 7 minutes.

Do you really think Alliance are just magically better at Horde that they can win all games in 7 minutes where horde fastest possible win in 15 minutes?

No, the map is super, super imbalanced for Alliance. As in, they should NEVER lose an even matchup.

But sadly, Alliance suck so much that not even that is good enough, they had to form full premades to exclude the ‘average’ player because the average player is so bad that they can’t win with them on their team.

One final question - If Alliance has ANY skill at PvP, why do they HAVE to make premades to win? And if the map is Horde favored why do Alliance premades win without ever defending even once, in half the time horde’s fastest possible win? Do allies do twice as much damage? No, they just have a straight shot into our base with nothing stopping them or slowing them down.

They already do, it doesn’t change anything

Sorry you suck at the game but it’s undisputed fact that Alliance have a huge advantage in AV. It’s documented well all you have to do is google and read.

Yes, alliance by and large suck at PvP. It’s the simplest explanation there could be. Most Alliance players are on PvE servers, therefore don’t care or compete in PvP regularly.

This means they get rolled in BGs, even when they have the advantage.

Premades guarantees wins, all wins=better honor/rep

Why wouldn’t you premade? Other than an elitist remark “only bad players premade” since that doesn’t matter to most players. A lot of us come home from work with a few hours to play, nothing wrong with making sure you have to farm less.

Who said you shouldn’t premade? Horde would premade if they could, lets not fool ourselves.

Everyone likes an unfair advantage. First thing I tried when queues came out was to form a premade. Sucks we can’t but oh well. The problem now is that the premades got so popular they pushed all the regular players into certain losses. All the good ally players have self selected out.

Not on Westfall they won’t.

:+1:

The 8 or so comments I have read of yours really paints a picture that those who premade as being crap at the game and being so bad they need to premade to win.

Though you admit you would premake if you could, but cannot due to queue times on horde. Its just slightly hypocritical don’t you think?

Since you can’t make a premade group you demonize those who do. Like a kid who can’t play baseball since he doesn’t have a glove, so he says “all those other kids who play baseball are idiots”.

What’s the hypocrisy?

I never complained about premades. Not once, not ever.

I explained the fact as to why Alliance premades. They’re mostly PvEers. This has been known for 15 years sorry if reality offends you now.

except the horde with our 15 min queue time will actually try to win in AV… while the ally, if anything go wrong, just give up and get into another insta-AV.

The map is disgustingly horde favored.

yeah, everytime I see 10 people trying to make that pixel-perfect jump to skip the 2 bunkers protecting the legendary bridge I can’t help but think how easy horde have it compared to the alliance short-hopping over the horde fence in a base that block their own archer LoS.

i love how horde talk smack on the majority faction where all the best pvpers and their hangers on all rolled on. re-roll alliance and show us you are a real pvper and not having to hide behind a massive faction/skill gap for easy wins. re-roll alliance and experience a real challenge imo. nah, they won’t do that b/c they might lose. enjoy the queues.

That jump is not difficult and if horde players try to say that its too hard to be usable then they should also give up on blaming skill difference for win rate imbalance because they’re garbage.

sure buddy.

let’s go with ‘’ the map is soooooooo horde-favored! they reach balinda before we reach galv! and that’s why ally wins in flat-out rushes… oh wait’’

In pure rushes alliance generally wins in 7 minutes and horde wins in 8-9. Not a huge difference and mostly because of NPC pulling more than actual distance issues especially with the jump skips.

In non rushes alliance has 2 chokes, 1 of which is easily pushed from multiple directions and the other is easily bypassed if you aren’t terrible at controlling your character.

Horde has IB choke which can be just as nasty as the bridge. They often don’t use it as much because it is even easier to defend at the RH choke/ramp which is horrible to try to push through even with the side jump due to LoS difficulties and camera angle problems.

Sure alliance has an advantage (although not quite as large as people claim) in pure rushes, but alliance isn’t the side that choose what type of AV they’re going to play. The map is horde favored in non rushes so alliance can only really choose to rush while the horde can basically choose to risk the fast win/loss with worse odds or a slow win with incredibly good odds.

Horde has the map advantage in 1.12. Not as much as in prior patches but still an advantage compared to later patches in BC and WotLK when AV became known as Alliance’s favorite BG.

It doesn’t offend me, you just keep contradicting yourself so frequently in your posts I assumed you were being hypocritical.

I see now you don’t mean to contradict yourself, just happens a lot.

Anybody saying the AV map favors Alliance is incredibly ignorant or are so deluded by faction bias they can’t bring themselves to realize the objective terrain advantages for the Horde on the map, should it be played as intended. There is absolutely no documentation “googleable” or otherwise which proves an Alliance advantage.

I’m going to assume this is a troll. Literally google “alliance alterac valley” read any of the 10+ hits. Even the ONLY post about “horde real advantage in AV” gets torn apart by every reply. Including multiple players who are Alliance admitting they have an advantage after having played both sides.

Its been debated to death. Ally have a HUGE advantage in AV overall. The moment they’re forced to PvP and not race past every objective, they lose.
