I’m close to choosing my covenant, “venthyr for life”, but something is bothering me. Does having alliance characters like a void elf dk in venthyr will have alliance storyline while a horde dh in venthyr will have a horde storyline? Also is it been confirmed or disproved that there will be allied races in shadowlands because if venthyr join the horde that would break my heart.
They’re the same regardless of faction.
I don’t remember if they’ve officially said anything but the general consensus is that the Shadowlands races will stay there.

My biggest question is does the king of the blood elf’s recognize blood elf’s and void elf’s?
Horde will get vamps and necros, alliance will get deer ppl and blue angels.

Supposedly he does have flavor text for BEs. I haven’t heard anything about VEs.

I hope not. Not because of vampires joining the horde but another reason for people to get mad. I’m hoping that alliance get naga/merfolk and horde finally get ogres.
They said new playable races are always possible where they make sense in the story to do so. Currently none of the covenants fit that. So it’s unknown, but I wouldn’t expect them to be playable.
