Alliance and Horde loyalists DON'T want peace

Hey everyone.

I am guessing the title explains itself and if you are here I don’t think I need to explain much. There is a Blood War and I see no reason it would stop at the end of the expansion but we all know it will stop. BFA has been a disappointment in that category but I’m not here to say ‘OmG iT sUkS’ because we all know it does right now.

I’ll try to be spoiler free but we should guess what is happening next expack and if you do then it sucks the Alliance is helping them and we are forced to said with them while the Horde get to side with The Banshee queen which is actually cool. Its all Nazgrimish but I havn’t seen all the sides yet since I don’t want it fully spoiled. I wan’t that Alliance loyalist faction and I want the Horde to have that faction in game because there are people out there that yell ‘For the Horde’ and mean it and don’t want peace with the ‘Filthy Alliance Dogs’ as yous say. Some Alliance doesn’t want to work with ‘The Horde Pigs’.

If there is even one option to say ‘No, i’m not helping the Horde/Alliance or fight beside them’ it would change everything. Blizzard are trying to add player choice that doesn’t effect lore and if we tell them we want this loud enough. Maybe just maybe they will listen.

This is just what I want and I hope people feel the same way. This is World of Warcraft. Blizzard seem to forget that when they made a story about two factions killing each other.

You’re right. This is the World of Warcraft, which is why I don’t shy away from wanting a civil war with Sylvanas loyalists who are ruining the Horde.

Hey I want peace. I just want it by destroying my enemy to the last man.

Why don’t we attack them while they fight amongst themselves? I mean this could draw them to The Alliance if we aid them in a lore standing point but we both know it would never happen in a gameplay standpoint.

one thing i am always confused on, with -loyalists-, is what -horde- they claim to be fighting for. if i have played horde since vanilla or bc, why am i suddenly -not a loyalist- or -a traitor-? conflict between the factions has always existed and it always will. even if its just in battlegrounds or pvp. there are options everywhere. but this sudden split down the middle, while one claims to be real horde, while doing no better than garrosh and the other side hasnt changed since the day they joined the horde way back then.
whats with the thralls horde vs some other horde that is opposite of what the actual horde has always stood for? i cant grasp a long time horde player going for the political genocide. undead or not. i can say one thing for sure, blizzard wasnt lying when they said that they consider these junk horde story lines -a success-. seems to have people splitting loyalties, spitting theories and taking it too seriously.

I say we take Orgrimmar and push it somewhere else!

Who’s with me?!

That idea might just be crazy enough… to get us all killed!

This just gave me a mental image of Jaina, instead of flooding or destroy Orgrimmar, teleports the entire city, as is and completely undamaged to Southern Barrens just to mess with everyone.

the peace blizzard has been showing off is horde being slaves to the alliance. i do not want that.

Peace at this point, narrative-wise, makes zero sense and in fact would make both factions look awful, while at the same time is a totally inevitable thing due to the meta of the story. I was a proponent of the Horde and the Alliance making peace for good, for the longest time, because up until the last few years it made sense and because it seemed as though we were ramping up to greater and greater threats that made the faction war superfluous.

But at this point making peace with the Horde and letting bygones be bygones makes absolutely no sense and in fact, by all story logic, would be the Alliance signing its own death warrant. Blizzard has done an awful job of portraying the Horde as being on similar footing with the Alliance, in terms of alignment, and everything we’ve seen thus far points to the Horde using any peace as a way to wind up and sucker punch their opposite number again.

They’ve yet again shown a Horde that won’t act when it commits atrocities, or when their Warchief commits terrible acts, until they’re the ones on the chopping block. To forge peace now, looking at it from the perspective of the Alliance characters, would basically be saying “Well, you killed a huge chunk of an entire race, and you don’t seem to be very good at handling your resources at all… but we’ll make peace with you even if it means you’ll turn on us suddenly, someday.”

So no, I don’t want peace because it would be tossing night elves under the bus again, and it would make the Alliance look completely insane, and only give Blizzard the chance for another nonsensical shock and awe event later on when they get bored and want the Horde to be ‘metal’ again.

But we’ll be getting peace anyway, because MoP has been forgotten in the narrative.

Cut to 3 expacs from now with the Horde burning the Exodar with everyone still inside it with death metal in the background
Alliance Leadership: WHo could have possibly predicted this outcome?

I’m not looking forward to a peaceful resolution this expac. The problem is that it no longer makes sense to have one, a line was crossed.

Unfortunately Blizzard probably plans on having the Alliance kill off those seeking to continue the war… They have stated that they want to have both factions eventually join into one…

at this point i just want that this mess ends already, and also, there is no need to have an horde or alliance if both are friends.

We should never had a faction war after mop.
i think that both factions are pretty much already dead…
because blizzard wrote themselves into a corner.

The faction war should never end or get into skirmish rather than a full open war. If Golden makes the peace and everyone hugs and sing kumbaya while using her mouthpiece Anduin, then I really hope the next layoff from blizzard includes 90% or all the writing team, after all I think a game with zero lore will be better at this point than the lore of the current crew.

Although I have to admit the dialogues and interaction got a bit better compared to the previous expansion where Illidan has never spoke a word with his brother and best friend ever again or arthas just got a cliche monologue with his 2 nemesis Jaina and Sylvanas

Yes, some dialogue is pretty good in the next patch, while others, like saurfang telling the alliance that they killed rasthakan makes absolute zero sense.

We have to put aside our differences and stop the Elves. ALL the elves.

So the only resolution that i can think and can save the alliance from a narrative death is if SOMEONE (like tyrande) NEVER agrees for peace.

While all other alliance leaders have to struggle if they help her in her war or not.
and maybe, after all that we can get a sense of cold war (for a little while) if we are too exhausted to continue, but we will resume it as soon possible.
That , in my opinion will save the alliance and not make them look like a joke.

That sounds like Horde talk to me, Alteraci.

I don’t even care anymore.

In fact, I want off this stupid faction ride entirely. Burn them both to the ground and let me go my own way in the world.

We are just going to do this same old nonsense again in the future; it’s clear Blizzard doesn’t know how to give TWO major factions their fair attention, so let’s be done with this factional nonsense and make entities like the Horde and the Alliance background organizations and free the player to do as they will.

Actually, Warcraft needs a reboot.

Age of Sigamar this setting to the ground, save maybe a handful of notable characters, and start over mostly from scratch.
