Alliance and Horde Communicating!

Isn’t it about time to allow the Alliance and Horde to talk to each other in game. Maybe Furbolg can be the common launguage. We are at peace with each other. It just makes sense that we should be able to talk to each other. Playing a game for over 15 years and not being able to talk to the other half of the player base in no longer makes any sense. Maybe an elaborate questline to be able to learn the other factions language. It is the next logical sense.

While I’d like this as well as being able to buff/heal them too, Idk if it’ll happen now that I’ve done the Emerald Dream main quest line.

In that quest line some of the main npc’s state that this truce between the horde and alliance is temporary.

So Idk. It’d be nice if we could talk at least.

After hundreds concussions the gnomes after 20 years still can not figure out what Lok’tar Ogar means…

Moo!

Some woulds say the trashtalk would be unbearable. Yeah, no. Intrafaction chat in BG is already toxic. It can’t get worse. or at least it get entertaining. Games like eve pvp crews trash talking each other is half the fun really.

Some have said stuff like op sec (operation security). hahahaha, eve spais don’t even use local ability to spai. they used 3rd party and ping their boyz in DM’s lol. and more than half the time the spai is a trusted player in the crew for years.

they don’t need the local info spill. That higher level spai was in the planning meetings and knows many things a line grunt level player doesn’t.

The majority won’t care about it. Regular players just want to be able to play freely with their friends. They also want to play their favorite races in their favorite faction.
Those who, after all these years, still haven’t outgrown their edgy teenage phase and feel compelled to express themselves as adults still behaving like perpetually adolescent teenagers because of FaCtIoN PrIDe (even after bfa & shadowlands), engaging in non-stop trash talk, should hopefully be a minority.
Apart from that, one can report such individuals if it gets out of hand.

I do think people should be able to invite the opposite faction without being on bnet friends or listing in LFG. That would be convenient.

I’m tired of the faction pride is childish nonsense when it’s the everyone hug it out stuff that feels like Saturday morning cartoon material.

I don’t disagree with you that the story is bad. However, that doesn’t change my opinion that players should be able to behave like adults. There shouldn’t be a fear that they express themselves like unruly teenagers, engaging in continuous trash talk in the chat. Or do you see it differently?

The languages were a fantastic innovation when they were put in game.

Blizzard over the years has kind of made the different languages worthless. There’s absolutely no reason why I should be able to get quests from NPC’s of the opposite faction, unless they’re literally speaking in Orc or Forsaken, and they aren’t.

There’s an incredible amount of examples of cross faction NPC’s speaking in what ever language we happen to understand, and that doesn’t make any level of sense.

At this point I say just let people talk to each other. Because, apparently each of us knows like 20 languages already. And not letting us talk is more of an inconvenience than anything.

That goes for both sides. But there is only one side that cannot accept allowing choice for people.

Trash talk in chat depends on the context. You can also just turn that off or move it to a new tab.

But that has nothing to do with factions really. People will talk trash in PVP regardless.

Faction pride is just liking the differences between the two and not being so into forced assimilation.

Hopefully with the way things are going, by Midnight or TFT the faction divides will drop enough so thats possible without the hoops.

If they are worried about pvp, which is stupid anyway, they can easily simply have it auto disabled in War Mode, flagged for pvp, and in BGs.

28,585 achievement points and you don’t know what I posted.

Ah so wow relevant. I know there have been some secrets using 1’s and 0’s they were not binary though.

One sent us to gnomer and wasn’t another something to do with music notes in Kara? I have a bad memory for things like that.

Out of pity, I’ll explain it.

Horde says: 101 101
Alliance sees: (orcish) ZUG ZUG

Now hang your head in shame.

Hmm never knew that.

The only one I remember is Kek.

No thank you.
